Oh! I remember when that happened! And wasn't it more than just a rape? Didn't that poor lady get robbed too? (And there might have been more than one rapist?) It was a while ago, so I can't remember exactly. But it wasn't just one crime.

So, Mr. Jeopardy Genius thinks a person accused of something deserves more support than an actual victim of a crime. Nice to know.
 
OK, after ending up Power Leveling quite a bit in my early posts and taking lolcows far too personally at times, I've generally tried to not do so now. I've posted before here about how this is some cult-level shit and how these people are insanely fucked up for simply dismissing all of the allegations of pedophilia as lies and libel without any solid evidence supporting their narrative, but... like... seriously.

Even if you think that the charges are all false, don't you think it's at least in poor taste to post a picture of your child to someone being accused of fucking pedophilia?

This isn't being willfully ignorant. This is terrifyingly blind delusion. Their narrative is so precious that they'll ignore everything someone says about them. Fuck things like Godwin's Law and A-Log and shit like that, but I swear if Hitler and Logatto were reverent SJWs then they would have literal legions of braindead followers willing to follow them straight to the grave. I made this as a joke earlier, but now I'm absolutely convinced that when Butts is finally hauled into the courtroom, she'll have hordes of her SJWs zombies inside and outside the courtroom claiming everyone in that courtroom is a SJW shill and that it's all a conspiracy to stop the SJWs from changing the world for the better.

And, you know what? I hope that happens. I hope that these fuckers really try to disrupt courtroom procedures so they get goddamned tasered. Hell, I hope these fuckers really try something so drastic that one of them gets shot. Fuck all of these people, fuck every single one that thinks that the only evidence one needs to be freed of all charges is to claim rights for trannies and women and blacks in a fucking video game. If one of these guys escalates it to violence then I hope the SJWs are truly willing to care their precious goddamned narrative to the grave.

And if she gets off scot free? I'm fucking walking into a mushroom cloud.

Fuck all of these people. I say this a lot in jest and I rarely, rarely say this as a genuine wish, but if they follow Butts all the way to the goddamned courtroom spouting this drivel then I hope someone does us all a favor and exterminates them.

This is what the Gamergate supporters - not the spergs (Homer) or the ones that have enough Autism to power a small city (KoP) - the ones with some level of common-sense - have been warning you guys about. This is the danger they all were telling about. When they mentioned that these people wanted an agenda when they said they wanted complete control, they meant it. What you all didn't expect is the level they'll go to use that power over the dumbest thing you could possibly think of. All that power, all that influence, and all of it leveraged to protect a fucking pedophile. Whilst we can laugh (and cry) about how this is the hill they've decided to die on, I want you to ponder, just for a second, what this implies. They're willing to throw down for this. Consider how many other times a GGer's been attacked or blacklisted by these faggots. Consider how many times neutrals, merely for the crime of disagreeing with an Anti - are fucking crucified by these people. They will push their agenda, they will have their way, and if you get in their way, they'll throw everything at you.

The Antis - hard-core SocJus proponents all - are fucking cults of personality. They may not be cults in the sense of drinking poisoned kool-aid and preparing for ascension, but they're just as insane and just as dangerous. This incident, I feel just kind of showed that.

I'm thinking of this thread being more a show of the cult like mentality of SJWs. This is a thread about lemmings. And we are grumbling in annoyance as we watch them charge toward a cliff. Once they reach that cliff we'll sit back, break out the popcorn, and laugh as they fall.

Until then, however, I don't think it's wrong to let off a little steam by ranting at their stupidity.
 
So can anyone tell me why this is all considered new information and blowing up just recently? People have known Sarah was a self-admitted pedo for a long time. It's just nobody was paying attention to them until they got involved in GG. It took almost a year for this to finally become an issue. I remember pro-GG people thinking it was fucking hilarious that someone as fucked up as Sarah was anti-GG and thought it would quickly backfire for Sarah once her reputation was known to her new-found friends. It didn't but many pro-GG people had no problem alerting anti-GG people that they were citing and supporting someone who is severely fucking disturbed.

Fuck, I remember when King of Pol (a pro-GG guy who is an ass) pretty much got cannibalized when he got caught lying about being able to verify some leaked info which turned out to be fake. So yeah... anti-GG people are creating a wall around someone who is a self-confessed pedo and dogfucker.

I don't blame anyone who hates GG in it's entirety but god damn it shows that some bloodletting is needed every now and again or else shit like this happens.

Sadly, I have, also in the context of an activist group. And I saw them line up to pillory the person who reported the pedo to the FBI, even though the person who reported it was a mandatory reporter who would have been committing a crime by failing to report. (They were one of three mandatory reporters, so it was pretty much drawing straws.)

That would also require a lot of discovery by the defense, not just into Nyberg, but into every single fucking person Nyberg knows or ever has known.

Lots more than Nyberg would go down. I think some of these people have to defend Nyberg, for that reason alone. But I'd love to see what happened if Nyberg went full kamikaze and started making noises about a libel suit. You might see some rats start to flee the sinking ship, fast.

ETA: Also, let's be clear about one other thing. Milo is a UK citizen and, as such, subject to some of the most draconian libel laws in the developed world. If he is hammering this hard on this story after consulting counsel, this shit is rock-solid.

He is basically saying bring it, bitch. I don't think he does that without a lot of confidence.

Probably aGG starting to lose relevancy with GamerGate starting to stop being a thing to anyone but the ardent, diehard supporters on both sides. While the GamerGate guys are basically jumping on this because it's exactly the kind of thing they've always disliked about aGG, I think the reason why it's such a big issue is that some GG people made the Butts logs public and Butts, instead of quietly rolling her eyes and not giving them any heed and letting it die out as "fevered rumors from the opposing side," formed a wall of her insane followers and denounced them.

Cue people trying to take down the logs and you have a full-blown Streisand effect. Honestly, I'm still rather disgusted that these people are either willfully ignoring or actively denying the evidence that's been put up against Sarah. I know it's overdone, but at least Chris, when caught in a lie, tries to justify himself or give an explanation. These guys are dismissing everything based on "lolGG," and it's just disingenuous, not to mention disgusting given the context.

Currently checking out the twitters of some of the big name antis, and I'm AMAZED at the amount of delusion.

These assholes truly believe they are on the side of the angels defending this asshole, simply because Nyberg was called out by people they hate, even though the proof is objectively provable.
