Tumblr nose is a ten year old meme based on a weird tendency for artists on tumblr to draw almost all their characters with rosacea or something so that they had very red noses, ears, and cheeks. To be fair, I'm unsure if it was supposed to be rosacea (celebrating skin disorders wouldn't be unheard of for tumblr, they also loved to portray vitiligo) since it was so prevalent in tumblr art it probably wasn't intended to be a disorder; it could have just been an artistic choice similar to the way that so many early cartoons had noses be a different color than the rest of the skin, but the tumblr version is all in the coloring so this is still distinct.

I'm suddenly recalling a phenomenon that resembles the tucute phenomenon. I used to watch fat acceptance posts and something that a lot of them would do was say that they were anorexics. These were obese people who were not in denial about being fat, just about fat being unhealthy. I always assumed that they were either lying or that they were possibly anorexic in the distant past, but it could be like the tucute phenomenon where they assume that any dissatisfaction with their sex/weight is gender dysphoria/anorexia ignoring the fact that these manifestations of body dysmorphic disorder specifically require this dissatisfaction to be so great that the person engages in self-harming or self-destructive behavior.

This has been a make up trend that fades in and out with both subcultures and current cultures. For instagrammers, you can find articles dating back to 2017 on red nose rouge. For cosplayers, some did it to mimic cute art of their favorite characters, others did it as part of Fairy Kei (fairytale cute) /Mori Kei (forest girl cute)/Menhera (ill girl cute) fashion subcultures of Japan. My guess is that this person was/is in the cosplay scene/is a giant weeb and is doing make up like that to feel like a cute elf or other magic creature (in that picture the person is wearing elf ears).

That shit really does happen. My wife had a coworker troon out and they become insufferable as their "true authentic selves". He was a straight man, and after he declared himself a bonafide woman, immediately ran to the nearest KwEeR bar to harass the lesbians. He slapped a pink hairband in his hair and went from dressing like a regular joe (clean, blue jeans, grey/blue/white T shirts) to a mix of 2005 Goth chick + gamer-gorl with electric purple hoodies that have fucking bunny ears. It looked ridiculous on a grown ass man.
He also tried to draft female coworkers to take him bra shopping for his non-existent chest, and started dosing himself with hormones he bought on the internet (no doctor involved. Don't be silly). Then it was raging drama, crying fits on the job, and a vocal disdain for real women who according to him, have it infuriatingly easy in life just waking up in the morning and not being a man. His entire life was about womaning, Trans activism, whining, shrieking about oppression, and his sexual orientation went from straight male, to "I'll try anything with anyone". He'd drone on how much he despised tranny chasers (because he was a lesbian) but then be socially inappropriate telling women about his sexual escapades with creeps (male) he found online in the darkest recesses of tranny fetish forums.
