The house will be sold to provide Phil's mom with care after he passes.

While I believe Phil is gross enough to plan on capitalizing on such a thing, I also believe he is going to be very disappointed when both parents are dead.

That said, I personally believe phil is on a steady decline both mentally and physically (shocker i know) lemme elaborate. As many of you have clearly noticed, physically hes looking ill and pale( not going out will do that) and mentally he's getting more paranoid/defensive than usual, going volatile at the blink of an eye. I think hes starting to feel the walls caving in, that slowly the rope is tightening and hes slowly forced to face reality. We went from "fundraisers will be a rare thing" to basically a monthly thing if not bi-weekly. Hes getting desperate to the point he wore the exceptional sonic hat and now has brought back Dsp Tries It Feasting with the king. It may not be the end of Dsp, but its sure as hell that is the opening act to "The Desperation Arc" where he will start to do shit that he normally or has said he wouldnt do.

That implies that Phil has any feelings for anyone else other than himself and I really don't think he does. Unless it directly affects his bottom line, especially cash, Phil doesn't care. He's shown he's willing to throw away any and all friends for money, his parents will be the same story.

Phil and Kathy actually had no specific plans to get married. It was just something they would vaguely talk about doing 'someday' whenever Phil's relentless schedule of manufactured 'REEmergengies' would let up. It was a pipe dream on the level of talking about how nice a vacation to the 'Super Nintendo World' theme park in Japan would be for him them, y'know like something that's never going to happen but pleasently wastes a few minutes of conversation to BS about for two people who barely see each other by design.

Phil's mom suggested shortly before the CT trip that they should get married while they were out there, and then talked them into it.

The way he thinks about criminal justice and laws in general is as insane as any of his other ideas. Anything that affects him negatively is criminal, and those same acts where he isn't affected negatively are legal and good.

Like the fair use stuff where he thinks Soma Julius Cruz can be arrested. DSP never violates fair use because he benefits from it. If he breaks YT TOS by streaming a song they don't like, the game developers were in the wrong and not him. It's how a very small child analyzes rules, he sees no problem with it either.
