There were two particular points you highlighted I wanna expand on:
American Society for Plastic Surgeons. It states that sex-reassignment surgery was the highest growing surgery in 2016-2017. During this time, these surgeries grew by 155%. The increase for transgender men was 289%. The increase for transgender women was much lower, at 41%.

This, to me, is always one of the most insidious ways people manipulate statistics (not accusing you, but the authors): Nowhere in this statement is an actual figure given. If there were 4 surgeries in 2016 but 10 in 2017, there's your 155% increase.

Not saying this is absolutely what's happening here, but any time someone quotes percentages without giving any actual numbers I immediately assume the actual difference is negligible (you see this kind of bullshit pulled alot with gun crime statistics).

So, while I appreciate this is by no means definitive, we at least have a confirmed minimum number of 30,000 people who have had SRS or are popping titty skittles, in the entire European Union. Going by the percentages of trans presentation you also cited (assuming the 30k receiving treatment and/or surgery can be split as cleanly as merely identifying as trans) let's say 10,000 of those are people under the age of majority.

That means, of the estimated 142,000,000 people under the age of 18 in the EU, 0.007% of them are actually going through with the serious, irreparable trans stuff.

Maths aren't my strong suit, so if I've fucked up my figures feel free to correct me, but this pretty clearly establishes my point as far as I'm concerned: What's happening is bad, but it is by no means an epidemic.

Any acronym that is (x)l(x) is (x) love (x), it's basically their "sexuality", but not really as sexuality is dependent on sex but here their attraction is based on gender.

Demi- is the prefix that genderites use that means partial or sometimes. An example is demigirl, where the person sometimes feels like a girl. This is quite stupid as literally no one feels fully like a girl or boy.

In the UK there are about 5,000 people who have had "sex-change surgery" (that includes stuff like greast implants and shaving bits off random bones, not just genital mutilation) and the same number (not necessarily the same people) who have an official gender change certificate. Stonewall reckons that 500,000 people come under the transgender umbrella, although they also include people who don't realise they've been co-opted, Klinefelter's and Hypospadia sufferers for example. I make that a 99% chance that the prop forward in the frock who just wants to pee will be doing so out his cock.

I was into the whole nonbinary they/them thing as a teenager on early-mid 2010s tumblr and I ended up becoming just a butch-ish lesbian (and a closet terf lol) by the time I turned 20. I thought the whole aiden thing was getting out of hand by 2014-15 or so. I cringe about it, but I guess most people cringe about the way they were in high school to some extent.

I think a big difference is that there weren't organizations devoted to protecting the rights of "goths" and forcing schools to look the other way if people even joked about stabbing people for the great Satan. Or insisting that we respect bulimics' exclusive right to go in any bathroom they choose while they purge.

Further, we know the statistics are that everyone put on puberty blockers keeps going all the way to cross-sex hormones. It's why the UK has banned it for minors. The numbers don't make sense with what the activists have been saying. And in the meantime, we let fully untransitioned kids decide they can be around girls with not even a doctor's note? It is insane.

People wary of the left's pet cultural causes are correctly picking up on the lack of limiting principle. You're trying to get them to define where the line is. How many people wrongly put on the medical transition pipeline is enough to get them to set up better guidelines? Is it fine for schools to encourage it as long as no one medically transitions? What is good about telling students it's perfectly normal to be so upset with their bodies that medical OR social transition is EVER a good solution? Why are lessons about this being incorporated into kindergarten classrooms?

The left won't even entertain these questions, so it's rational to assume they won't ever do a heel-turn. They will let all kinds of students be harmed if it means they don't have to admit there are unintended consequences.
