Could someone screenshot the page? Apparently you need to have an account to view things.

Also in regards to The Ascent, is the game difficult? I just can't see Phil not wanting to play something hyped unless it requires any sort of skill. Looking at the Steam reviews the game looks decent, just as others have said.

Phil is not engaging with the simulation mechanics AT ALL. Easy mode, communications muted, baffled that his audience wants to see the view from the cockpit, quits out or intentionally crashes rather than trying to land, etc. He could have saved himself however much he spent on the Series X and just done a Google Maps + Wikipedia stream or even better played Geo Guesser.

"I didn't know that. I didn't know New Zealand was right near Australia like that. I had no clue."

Now I am genuinely curious where he thought New Zealand was.
Some people get autistic about trains I get kind of autistic about planes and flight sims so here's a quick autistic run down of all the things he's doing wrong.

I know its just a game and vidya games are not serious business but for someone who routinely uses the expression "not the way the game's meant to be played" I think this is warranted.

Trying to take a 747 on a grass field landing strip.
Overspeed, ok that ticking noise can be kinda scary first time you hear it but yes there is speed limits in airspaces. Generally 250knts or less for under 10,000 feet.
Stalling and then nosediving repeatedly. His flights would make you queezy and sick.

The VS to the right is the vertical speed. Do I need to explain why trying to climb 2415 feet per minute at 91 knts is a bad idea?

Auto-pilot, apparently. It's like MLB: The Show, but with even more of an easy mode.
The autopilot still takes a bit of configuring if you're just flying around aimlessly like Phil does, its still dials and switches and stuff.
a female fan once painted him a picture with her fat fucking tits.
Like using her boobs instead of a paintbrush? That sounds kinda hot and fucked up, I'll take 3.

Was Phil one of those 7 to get reduced? :story:

So, Phil's dad managed a customer support team, got a promotion, used his influence to get his son a job in customer support, and Phil managed to lose a comfortable position despite having nepotism on his side and likely made his dad look bad.

God, this oddly shaped Polack loves shooting himself in the foot.

Phail won't know what to do with all the cash he gets from his father working at that cleaning supply juggernaut. Large inheritance DEBUNKED

I can get autistic about automobiles. We could all get together and make a movie. :story:

No you see, working at a job requires actual work, not telling everyone they are wrong, and some form of shame. Phil has none of these

Doesn't mean he hasn't saved up a lot of money for an inheritance. Also Phil's definition of large might be different to what we think is large

I'm dead certain that a lack of productivity and a major fuck up on whatever paperwork he had to do was the reason they fired him.

As for him telling the story, Phil really should've just never mentioned it, because as soon as it was discovered that his dad got him the job, there was no such thing as spinning it in a positive way. Especially since it was the last time he was gainfully employed, and has had to rely on the internet ever since then. And I mean it when I say "had to". Phil is way too dumb to make it as anything but a joke.

God, imagine having to talk to that retard for customer support... "Uhh whatever the issue is, it is 100% your fault and we have done everything correct! Thanks for the money dummy and go fuck yourself! ACK ACK ACK, did I handle that pretty good dad?"

He has looser lips than Chris Chan, his ego drives him to divulge information about himself.

well i mean can you blame him, probably didnt think anything was wrong with him, spend everyday with him phil was probably able to converse with his dad quite easily but theres no way phil wasnt a socially awkward nudnik that noone wants to talk to when he was at work

Nah, this is a real life confrontation. He would have meekly offered some apologies, then walk round the break room saying how he would have smacked this shit out of the guy if he'd said that to his face.

I recall the SoK making several references to GamerNicole, which I believe was a Twitter handle of a person who was sexually/romantically forward with Phil to the point of obsession. Possibly a larp, possibly insane. I’m not sure there’s much lore about this person, though.

ETA if anyone is autistic enough to cross reference those dates with anything surrounding DSP at the time, but I've heard that once pandalee came into the picture, gamernicole was done with Phil. I don't know when Leanna was introduced to us so worth a look to anyone.

That makes no logical sense, whatsoever.

I guess the main thing is to not think too hard about it?
They believe Phil's stories, or they're too far gone to care. It's really only a handful of people but they've got enough money to keep DSP going.

And yes, analyzing it just hurts the brain. The world is filled with idiots and Phil found a handful of them that have money.
