His more recent videos (2019+) have much clearer audio and you really don't need a lot of data to build a convincing voice anymore. It's not like you need to puzzle together an entire vocabulary, it's more about pronunciation of sounds and letters in combination that AI is looking for.

It actually would be possible - it's very cutting-edge and recent stuff (like... literally from 2021), but yes, present day top-of-the-line audio deepfake technology allows you to make really convincing audio clips with just a few minutes of example material. I'm leaning towards this being fake honestly, whether due to being doctored or Chris being manipulated somehow. This just doesn't seem like something he'd do, as awful as he can be.

Except that Chris has displayed in the past that he is willing and capable of causing harm to others, especially if he's convinced himself that he is in the right. He's threatened death and harm to many people over the years. He ran over Snyder and pepper sprayed a GameStop employee. He ran over a snake in the road for his own sick pleasure. Now, if this is real I don't believe he threatened his mother to coerce her into going along with it. If it happened, I believe it was either mutual, Chris being confused by Barb's behavior while she was in some dementia-fueled fugue state, or Chris just taking advantage of her while she was off in dementia land. But Chris is definitely capable of harming others in the right situation.

Also another reason why I believe this is fake:

The audio says "True and Honest", while despite the troll memes, he has never said "True and Honest" verbatim ever, specially after 2010.
The closest thing he has said is "True, honest love", so that makes me believe this was scripted or computer generated.

I listened to the YouTube video, but wasn't able to make out most of what Chris said. According to other posts, the incest might have taken place during 2011 and 2012 rather than anything recent? If that was the case, well... Chris wouldn't be guilty of rape, at least, since Barb was still fully lucid and wouldn't show signs of dementia for some years. Goes without saying that it would still be gross as hell, but yeah.
