Islam tends to contradict itself on that. There's a prohibition against dying your hair black to deceive (i.e. covering up grey hairs), but separately a prohibition on imitating people of other faiths, which arguably bleaching your hair blonde is doing. However men are specifically told to dye their beards black, because Jews and Christians didn't cover up grey beards, and specifically only men are told not to dye their hair with saffron which implies women can. Vanity is also an issue.

Most of the modesty rulings are to do with enticing men more than anything else (hence why they don't wear hijabs around women), and beautifying yourself to please your spouse is supposed to be a good thing. I'd imagine dying your hair just because you think it's fun is probably more makruh (disliked, think venial sin) than haram (forbidden, think mortal sin). But hijabis do all sorts of weird shit, you'll see plenty of them walking around absolutely caked in makeup which directly contravenes the whole modesty thing, and there's often slap fights about colourful or khaleeji hijabs (the latter is sort of hump shaped). There's also a meme about wearing slutty clothes under an abaya.

They're kinda more like Jews than Christians in that regard, there tends to be way more debate about the rules and people looking for loopholes. The Hadiths are where most of this stuff comes from, and they're just the opinions of Mohammed rather than the Quran which is supposed to be the inviolable word of God; think the Talmud vs the Torah

The comparison I'd draw is Christians who oppose homosexuality because of the Bible, but still engage in pre-marital sex or get blowjobs.

They tried to do the whole “black women are masculine which is why trannies should play as female” into a thing but black women twitter went to the the head bitch: Stormfront tranny Chase (Kate) Strangio and shanked her ass as a warning shot and the white power ACLU lawyer privated her account for a week and a half. Some keep trying but do it with caution or vague as possible so it wont pop on a radar after that.

I think the reasons lesbians haven’t done this successfully (they have tried, with groups such as Get The L Out) are complex. For a start, there aren’t enough of them, then there’s the awkward problem of too many younger lesbian women being handmaidens and insisting lesbians should be happy to suck dick (A surprising number of older ones too, though I’ve noticed they’re nearly always married so have no skin in the game to lose). I suspect most wouldn’t really touch troon dick with a barge pole and are just desperately being ’allies’, those that say they would are bi and are lying about it because ‘queer’ lets you get away with unfashionable sexualities without any effort. Add to that that lesbians have always been treated like the ugly ginger stepchild of the QUILTBAG rights community because it’s long been male dominated and gay men have historically tied in their dick worship with massive misogyny and the lesbians never stood a chance. At least they can sit back and laugh now gay men are having problems with entitled whiny Aidens.

For me, the clearest example of how drastically things have accelerated in recent times is J.K. Rowling.

5 years ago she was a woke darling; the poster child for progressives and feminists alike. With her super-enlightened takes on refugees, making Dumbledore a peter puffer and lying that there was every possibility Hermione had always been a black character, there seemed to be no issue where she wasn't willing to bend over backwards to accommodate the SJW crowd. And they LOVED her for it.

Fast forward to Current Year and Rowling is now one of the most despised people on the planet, unironically accused of committing genocide. It's at the point where any time new Harry Potter content is announced they have to make it clear she isn't associated with it, and even then you still get people in the comments whining about transphobia.

The most pandering progressive female celebrity I can think of is now Literally Hitler in a matter of years. If that's not a wake-up call to people that this is getting out of hand I dunno what it'll take.

I think there's another aspect that's often overlooked. Surgery.

Your average left aligned normie hears on the internet that trans women can have vaginas that are utterly indistinguishable from the real thing, to the point not even a gynecologist would know without getting out the speculum. Trans women were born in a male body, sure, but you literally can't tell at all as they look exactly the same as cis women. So if you don't want to have sex with a trans woman, then you must be a raging bigot because you'd only know if they told you.

Now we know that isn't true, because of the wide variety of troons on here with mangled amholes who don't pass. But that's what (lefty) people believe. Meanwhile there's not a widespread belief that trans men have fully functional dicks that look just like the real thing - some may claim it, but for the most part people either think trans men can't get surgery or they have their own stuff going on.

And that was the thin end of the wedge for stuff like "girldick", but not the other way around.

You are correct. As a matter of fact my girlfriend only peaked when she finally realized that surgery didn't actually turn them into women. She's the generic super-late millenial sheltered tumblerina adjascent, so I'm pretty sure that's just how most women 25 or younger think about trannies up until they get a transbian with a boner and balls outline in their miniskirt all up in their face demanding to get sucked.
