Josh and PPP obviously have a great deal of respect for each other. If this was really about the competition than none of the stipulations would matter. Most competitions operate on the honor system, but this is about their relationship.
Their boylationship was founded mutual respect and admiration. When either one of them implied that the other was untrustworthy, it hurt them. They were genuinely surprised that their counterpart would think so little of them.
