This is the first time I've had the misfortune of watching two Phil pre-streams back to back. There is no wonder that his only fans/mods are some combination of retarded/psychotic/perverted/lonely/furry/incels. Legitimately nobody with an at least 75% functioning brain could listen to his ground hog day inane preamble day in day out without killing themselves or damaging their mental health. Every day is the same shit as the last... Phil's day off... Phil's schedule... What happened the last time he played New Vegas... Flight Sim. Literally word for word the same topics as yesterday that nobody could possibly care about. If you played his pre-streams in Guantanamo Bay you'd have ISIS begging to be waterboarded.

"I have an important appointment tomorrow."

"And then I'll try to eat out with my wife as well. We try to eat out at least once a week, so we're not cooking every day."
Uh. Most people don’t cook every day. They have leftovers or plan meals across the week in bulk, like, say, making a ton of spaghetti sauce and then freezing it in portions to use throughout the week.

There’s no problem DSP thinks can’t be solved by compulsive spending, even if all those problems have simpler, cheaper solutions.

For most people, not cooking usually means buying a pre-made frozen meal (or leftovers as you said). For DSP, a Stouffer's lasagna IS cooking. So it's even more absurd that he needs a day off from 'cooking.' It's just an excuse to consoom.

Maybe he's talking about his restless leg or incessant need to rock back and forth.
The dude rocks back and fourth so much just hand him a container, rock salt, and flavored cream...you'll have a Pint of Dave's finest ice cream in minutes.
Garnishment.

They can seize Paypal funds too if they want to go to the trouble.
This would be gold lol. He will really hate his former archive then if they get a cut.

Yeah yeah everyone I'm not being too serious
One thing I don't get is that from what I could tell, his bankruptcy documents didn't include all of his monthly credit card payments or the CT condo mortgage -- all of which ended up being discharged.

In that case, presumably, his household is still making negative income. I don't know if there's some kind of means test with wage garnishment but presumably he could just keep lying about his business expenses to show that he is forever in the red, right?

God the more I think about it the more I realize how much of a shitshow his financial situation is. I would LOVE to know what number he is reporting to the IRS as 'net earnings' for purposes of self-employment tax.
I haven't looked at the bankruptcy papers but didn't he list his income at like 80k? I even thought the filing was low.
Mmm that’s the optimism my chasm of a soul needs. Yum yum!
Listen Brother! No matter what happens Dave will be a sad boi. If midfirst doesn't get him, people on twitter probably will. The bans on twitter and if people get into his stream will be wonderful.

I posted a link above with actual examples of Youtube/Adsense "wages" being garnished. It happens every day.

Those payments are considered wages. They issue a 1099.
Dude come on, if you know that a 1099 is then you know what its for. A 1099 is for non employment income. Its specifically used for contractors/freelancers which can not legally have their wages garnished.

I looked at you link and im not convinced by a 10 year old post on a webform. Even assuming both of those cases are true they both involved owing money to the IRS which is MUCH different from owing money to a random bank. I made a good faith effort to locate any example of YouTube garnishing adsense and (in my admittedly limited search) i wasn't able to find anything outside of the example you provided.

It's unlikely to happen but MidFirst could secure a one time garnishment. Imagine the salty tears if they yoinked one of his YT checks.

"Creditors cannot garnish the wages of independent contractors and freelancers, because wages are technically earnings paid to an employee by an employer. However, if you are self-employed, this is not cause to relax. Creditors – whether they are collecting credit card balances, student loans, or some other form of unsecured debt – can still file a claim against personal property or obtain approval for a non-earnings garnishment.

Non-earnings garnishments differ from wage garnishments in a few ways. When a creditor wins the right to garnish your wages, federal and state laws impose a limit to the amount a creditor can deduct from your weekly earnings. Generally, the limit is no more than one-quarter of your disposable income – earnings minus required deductions – or income in excess of 30 times the minimum wage. Whichever amount is less. Traditional wage garnishments are also continuous, meaning the duration of garnishment may continue until your debt is paid off or a legal withholding limit has been reached.

With non-earnings garnishments, a creditor can seize one-hundred percent of an expected compensation, such as sales commissions, contract payments, or receivables. However, this is a one-time seizure of income. Non-earnings garnishments are not ongoing like wage garnishments. While traditional wage garnishments are limited by law to disposable income from paychecks, creditors seeking compensation through a non-earnings garnishment can levy your bank accounts, income received from rental properties, and other sources.

While these two forms of garnishment are fundamentally different, the law still requires creditors to follow a certain process, including filing a claim, winning a judgment, and giving advanced notice."

I think as long as DSP productions or whatever is legally distinct from Phil then they wouldn't be able to do a non-earning garnishment against his company. As dumb as Phil is im guessing his parents made sure he set up a LLC to protect him (and them) from his bullshit. Although its possible Phil set up his payments wrong and keeps cash in his accounts, in which case he could get fucked, but I don't think its likely.

" Run Errands" is up there for me with "Bills" in terms of great DSP-Speak. You need to tip because he needs to "Run Errands" tomorrow.
I especially like running the errands that could potentially bite me in the ass.
A prime example of the pigroach semantics. At least once can mean once per week, of course, or 100 orders per week.

Classic Philbert.
You immature kid. He said eating out not doordash dood! Totally different because they delivery the food to your house....debunked!

DSP does not have a LLC and operates his business as a sole proprietorship. There is no legal separation between Phil the person and DSP the business. This was the whole reason behind the "I don't have a business and never have" claims he made in an attempt to avoid state business tax.

The way he has things structured was advantageous for his bankruptcy because it allowed him to muddy the waters around the separation of business and personal expenses since they are so heavily comingled. But for a non-wage garnismnet that means that the money he needs for his business is probably not protected. Phil the person is the only legal entity getting paid.
