Yeah I mean I guess that angle is still live, he gets hit with a lien and he gets really mad about it. The only problem is that he wouldn't really ever bring it up on stream and im not sure dave is smart enough to actually be mad about future problems. It didn't hurt how many jpegs of hulk hogan is wrestling panties he can buy? Then he is A-OK!

My guess is the bank won't even come after him other then making threats and sending letters. Lawyers are expensive and people like DSP are common enough that there exists the term "judgement proof" which means that no matter how good your case is you have zero chance of getting any money from the settlement. The dude defaulted on the loan already and declared bankruptcy. Even if the bank is 100% sure they will get awarded the full settlement it is probably a better use of their time and money to use their lawyers on other cases. A lien only pays out if he sells the place AND if there is any money AFTER the secured debt lenders get paid and id bet if DSP ever walks away from that house its with more debt then equity.
Midfirst has lawyers on salary - legal fees are part of their business model. I do believe they'll squeeze for as much as they think they can get and a lien guarantees they'll eventually get something. A lien imposed by a court will likely also accumulate interest as well meaning the amount owed will grow.
Bottom line is a lien that he can't pay would limit his future options dramatically. He can't just sell and pocket the appreciation in value and now home prices are starting to fall fast.

Phil play Wrestling Empire
Phil would be so upset at that game.

"HUH?! You mean I have to be literally right next to the opponent for my strikes to connect? This is a garbage game, dood. These graphics look like the shit I took the last break, ACK ACK ACK."

For the uninitiated, this game is literally the work of one man, and is meant to be a love letter to the N64-era wrestling games. It is janky, but if you grew up with the N64 games, it's also got the same kind of charm those games had. Also you can kill other wrestlers by beating them too much during the match and in the post-match article, it tells you the opponent suffered severe injuries during the match and the medics could not revive the opponent. Then you lose popularity and attitude as you're seen as careless and bloodthirsty.

It would be easy to get a lien put on the condo. Then the debt gets settled at sale regardless of when that is.

What about the legal fees? 4k would probably put him in a bind unless mama and papa helped or he did get credit cards again. Its not realistic to think they get everything. my thoughts are are they'll collect the few thousand, or as DSP would call it...only some money. Watching him squirm with even that over his head would get a laugh out of me.
Second verse, same as the first. How are they going to get 4k in legal fees out of DSP? He can just fold his arms and cry poor. Its a funny concept since most people are used to being and dealing with honest people who pay their dues, but its shocking how much you can get away with if your just a total immoral scumbag like DSP. Im sure there are all sorts of bills he just never pays that we never hear about behind the scenes. Unless its a secured loan, utility company, or big daddy government, there is very little leverage companies have to make you pay your debts.

Get a lien? Yes absolutely, that's super easy. Actually get paid on the lien? Thats up for debate. So if/when the khando sells then you are right in that midfirst would be in front of DSP for sales proceeds. The problem is Midfirst will be behind the secured debt holders, uncle Sam, and any one else who put a lien in on the khando before midfirst. If DSP ever takes a line of credit out against his house (I mean come on its almost guranteed he did) then the chances of midfirst collecting are basically zero. The question is will it be worth the banks time/money to sue DSP to get lien that probably wont pay out? My guess is they wont but banks are better at risk assessment then I am so who knows.

And a lien that accrues interest can suck up all of the equity he's gained and even turn negative if property values fall.. Theoretically the amount owed could grow larger than the value of the house, putting him right back into the same situation with Midfirst as the CT condo.

Also Liens in most states are first come first serve im guessing this isnt the first bill DSP has stiffed.

I just finished this video.

"I dont have on going nerve issues, what I have is from time to time an issue with nerves, btw, I had that kinda issue for uh... for over a decade"

What is this new lore around stretching/oxygen in the blood? Is it just a super boomer response to people asking for less breaks?
As usual, he's applying pig logic to medicine/science without doing any actual research or critical thinking. His blood clot rants irritate me the most I think.

Snowkarl is just the best tipper on DSP's stream. The shrill cackle of an escaped madman Phil let loose when he discovered a loophole to not read the rest of the tip tells me they seriously get to him.

I'm not familiar with this 'nervous issue' lore. Has he talked about it before?

Guys, I think it's important to admit when we're wrong. DSP does indeed have a Silent Majority™

They will start taking a percentage of his youtube revenue every month.

I'm not expecting anything or a red carpet. Its just best to put dsp in past and move on in life. Good speaking with you all.

Just in case you're still arounf slightly different question from the usual.

What's your take on the twitch -> youtube transition? Like, as a mod for Phil obviously it went from lots of people watching/commenting to basically a four person chatting graveyard (and three of these are mods). And since you've modded for years I feel like you should have a decent view of the carnage.

Its also pretty clear its got Phil shook and his income tanking is causing him to get drunker and more erratic as time goes on and he tries to squeeze more blood from stones.

Just curious what the situation looks like from the view of someone inside the bunker helping load the pistol.
