No. Boys love stories about working hard to overcome impossible enemies, where as girls tend care more about relationships drama and problem solving. One works much better with long arcs about becoming a stronger warrior. It's honestly not that deep and trying to make it so makes you sound pretentious as all hell.
They will hit a point where they ask too much, too quickly. One of the lessons of GamerGate was the left always overestimates how much support they have and how much power they have.At some point, the demand for gibs turns into pure μολὼν λαβέ.
Come on. Bring it bitch. Do it. Turn your demands into reality. See how it turns out.
There is no set definition because there never has been and never will be. A 'strank waman' is basically just a mega power fantasy for twitter-tards where they are set up to smack down the current day bogeyman with impunity. However if you dare not pander to every single twitter-goer they'll call you an incel mysoggykneest.. UNLESS you've put a lot of money and some poor sap's hours into fluffing it on social media. Then they'll become your greatest champion and defend it to the last even if it's utter dribble. It literally doesn't have a definition.
"She needs to be a strong woman."
Um, ok, like, physically imposing, or...
"No, you know, a strong woman."
"Like... a leader? Cunning?"
"No, no, she needs to be STRONG. All women in media have to be STRONG."
As far as I can tell, it means some sort of nebulous "no flaws, not even things that could be considered to be flaws in a certain light."
Here is a list of countries where marital rape is illegal or legal.Where is that? Because in Canada, The USA, GB, Aus, NZ, and the overwhelming majority of Europe, marital rape is absolutely grounds for divorce.
Not the USA. It's still in contention, especially in religious circles.

alas, wikipedia, but still some information.
The only marital rape legal in the US is alimony.View attachment 2379714
Again, wikipedia, but marital rape is illegal in all 50 states. Take that for what it's worth.
Yet still the discussion about it still isn't over somehow.View attachment 2379714

Nice to see I'm not the only one who gets riled up over "strong female characters" and for the same reasons. I'm sick of this lazy writing and character-building under the guise of "strong female character". They always talk about showing women they can be strong, but all they really do is have them act like men and set up unrealistic expectations for their lives and even their own bodies. Instead of writing around biological and social differences, they just pretend those don't exist. What the fuck is a "strong woman?" Diversity and Comics pointed this out in one of his videos this week. What the fuck is a STRONK WAMMYN? Physically strong? Emotionally strong? Smart? A leader?

For the love of God, stop fetishizing anime characters and gay couples.
I think it also has a lot to with feminity being seen as weak in general, it's to the point that simply being a woman is victim. Yes we're physically weaker, but we have ways to make up for it that. And honesty I don't think we know how to do anymore because we're now taught that being more masculine will get you more respect in our culture. The person who made this meme undermined their own point. The fact that girls in "girl's shows" end up in situations where they have to change so quickly is reflective of female experiences.
A girl being an "ordinary girl one day and a magical girl the next" mirrors the whole "getting your first period" thing pretty well. A change happens, and then you change around that inciting event. It's a great metaphor for puberty.
Side note, this is also why I liked Madoka a lot and why I'm enjoying Magica Record less in comparison. Don't get me wrong, though, I still like it.

I really want to see more examples of actual female strengths being used and celebrated. I'm tired of the whole "She fight good", "Girl power!", and "She doesn't need a man to rescue her!" tropes.
What if instead it's a story celebrating endurance (like this video essay examines in regards to Snow White) and the virtues of optimism; or a character whose challenge is to hold true to "boring" morals such as the importance of law (e.g. Akane Tsunemori); or one whose strength comes from pacifism and/or emotional stability (Wouldn't that be nice, more girls growing up seeing stoicism as a virtue)?
All these things are not exclusive to girls/women, but they are things that tend to be more common in that population, and can in turn set good examples for everyone.
They mistake courtesy (and simple reluctance to get into slapfights with retards) with an unwillingness to do it when they fuck with something you actually do care about. They will hit a point where they ask too much, too quickly. The discussion over an act being legal or illegal will never be over. There will always be people who see an act, theft for example, as justified and of course will not call it that.Yet still the discussion about it still isn't over somehow.
Also don't forget that in current year the legality of an act committed depends on the race and the political affiliation of the perpetrator and victim. The discussion over an act being legal or illegal will never be over. There will always be people who see an act, theft for example, as justified and of course will not call it that.
Here's a fun phenomenon I've noticed. People will shout "women can do anything a man can do" (untrue, btw) until they're blue in the face, but if you then ask them "Well, what are some things where women tend to do better than men on average?" they either can't answer or start ranting about the patriarchy and how women have never been allowed to excel.I think it also has a lot to with feminity being seen as weak in general, it's to the point that simply being a woman is victim. Unlike men woman can give birth and nurse. Women in general are better at picking up social cues and calming people down. They are better at being careful, especially when it comes to safety. Women are more sensitive to little kids and so tend to be better attending to them. Women don't have eat much as men do different mussel and bodyfat ratios. Women tend live longer and healthier. Here's a fun phenomenon I've noticed. It's like the communism loop:
"True communism has never been tried!""What about [Insert country here]?""The USA interfered! It was manipulated!"->
"Women are the same as men!""Men are stronger and faster. What are women better at doing?""Women are held back because men are stronger and faster!"
