Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

If it goes back into supply it will cause even more inflation. Getting it back in supply would have been useful BEFORE spending all the funny money. But now it'd do little more than inflate more.

I really think the initial plan in 2019 was to basically run Biden as a jobber candidate who could take out the interlopers like Bernie and Tulsi while also doing the least amount of downballot damage if he lost to Trump. I think the plan of "Go all in on propping up Biden" really gained momentum once Tulsi BTFO'd Kamala in the first DNC debates. They didn't intend to win the main election with Biden at first, only to win the primaries. The pandemic changed all that.

It wasn't until COVID-19 really started to gain momentum that the DNC changed their plans and decided to go all in and try to win as opposed to letting a perfectly good crisis go to waste.

Luckily for them, Bernie was effectively out of the equation once Super Tuesday was over and done with.

Even if Bernie is another uniparty shill at the end of the day, him winning the primaries for 2020 would've made the Squad far more uppity and give them ideas of their own. The corporate neoliberal establishment Dems didn't want that to happen.

A lot of people tend to think TPTB have everything all planned out in advance all the time, but honestly a lot of the time, they're usually more reactive than proactive.

Some of the more "Big Picture" things might be preplanned but a lot of it is just them rolling with the punches and making shit up as they go along.

The pandemic threw everyone a huge curveball and the bigwigs figured they could use that as the perfect opportunity to actually win 2020 and be rid of the Orange Man.

My normal fillup is close to 16 gallons. if I lived there I'd be saying 113$ for a full tank of gas...prior to Biden's inaugeration I was looking at a 20-30 dollar fill up

trump likely wont run. not because of external pressure but because hes a planner and as he gets on in age his energy will naturally decrease.

I said this before, my bet is that he is waiting until after the midterms to determine if he is running for sure or not. If he announces now he'll rally the RINOs to allow the dems to pass their election bill. Too risky, better to wait till after 2022 and see how the winds are blowing.
