Wait I'm sorry I tried looking it up myself but got no answers. Why would someone tie the cord to a door handle to kill themselves? Is it an alternative for if they dont have anywhere on the ceiling or high enough to hang themselves from, and if so is it used like a pulley? Or do they just kinda sit down below the door and choke. And wouldnt the thing slip off the handle anyways? Or is it some rube goldberg thing where the handle is supposed to slip and turns the cord ect?
I know I probably sound actually retarded for asking this, sorry in advance.

I am pretty sure the widescreen and HD Mode 7 thing weren't made by Byuu, but other contributors to BSNES and Higan, as both are open source projects. These guys didn't even bother doing research.

It's a pretty generic soft hanging method. You just do it until the blood supply to the brain is cut off, then you lose consciousness and your weight does the rest of the job. So long as pressure is maintained, and it doesn't have to be much, death occurs within minutes.

Although most of the users commenting in this thread didn't even read at least the highlights either, because Byuu only did some things on that emulator that made certain obscure games run. He didn't made the entirety of BSNES from toilet paper, he's not some sort of coding god. He's good, but people are exaggerating his abilities as a coder lol. He's been a drama queen for the better part of his Byuu/Near persona, if he didn't threw KF under the bus with this (successful) attempt at attention whoring, most, if not all, retrogaming and emulation forums would've disregarded as "Byuu being byuu". As seen on his 13 pages thread, as well as this thread, he tried this once already.
If David is reading, or anyone that's close to him, tell him that this is pathetic and he should get back working onto his emulators without talking shit about politics, sociology nor anything he doesn't know the first thing about.

Most modern accurate emulators are the result of contribution from multiple people in some way. Byuu himself contributed to ZSNES and SNES9X. Hopefully he will decide on whether or not he's really a gay furry troon some day, and continue working on emulation stuff and maybe even helping out homebrew niggas. Hell, I'd ask him about some advice if I were to do SNES homebrew. He didn't just do some things that made obscure games run. It's more complicated than that. He did things that made the emulator behave like a real SNES. That includes potential homebrew games that used programming tricks not used in contemporary commercial games. And let's not forget the obvious sound issues in Mario games prior to SNES9X 1.53 and BSNES whatever version (gonna have to dig thru crusty BSNES versions).
 
The cords has gone from the handle, up and over to the other side of the door (where the noose is). By looks they used some sort of clip and loop to try and keep the noose from dropping (no idea if it'd work mind you and no idea what that mess of cable is at the bottom. He suggested he would use a stool, and noose seemed quite high, so it should theoretically be a suspension hanging - or partial if he's tall. You can still pass on if you hung yourself from the doorknob itself, it's just you'd have to place your body in certain ways and there's a higher risk that flailing/convulsions might stop you from being in position.

I was wondering if the phone call specified how long they waited on the phone due to the fact brain death can take up to 30-50 minutes depending. And they needed details to make the larp seen reasonable. Surely they would have heard gutteral noises and bangs, and not just naff music.

I could've looked at this guy as a hero for helping make SNES emulation possible (it was one of the consoles I grew up with). But after turning himself into an embarrassing furfaggot with mental issues and doing a gayop fake death, I only have contempt for this bastard.

I don't think he really did. He just knew how stupid Twitter is and didn't like the Farms in general, and that despite his history of fake suicide, they'd be stupid enough to believe it if he just blamed it on the Farms because REEEEEEEEE KEEWEE FAAAARMS.
 
That article doesn't say anything new except bringing up Wayne Beckett. Otherwise it's a run-of-the-mill "internet speech is not free speech" sort of article that conveniently cites post-suicide Farms posts but doesn't cite anything from the actual thread that apparently contributed to Byuu's suicide. Virtually all the mean stuff about Byuu on this site has been said postmortem but that's conveniently ignored.
Regarding Wayne, it looks like he believes Byuu is dead without anything to substantiate it and behaving accordingly, which is understandable but all the blame towards Kiwifarms is baseless.

I find it interesting how suddenly Byuu's name is referenced casually now after he'd been found out in this thread.
Still standing by for an ounce of proofs.
