US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? My God, the optics of Biden being removed from office would be delicious. That would be a right hook into the jaw for the Democrats. Not enough to kill the party, but it would severely hurt them because it would show everyone clearly everything they've said is bullshit. At the same time, Biden is going to die on live television at this rate so their best hope is somehow convincing him to step down, and even that looks horrible for the party.

I think some of what's happening right now is that even Biden knows he isn't getting a second term (he would not survive that long), so they are desperate trying to rush everything RIGHT FUCKING NOW. Biden to "secure" his legacy and the DNC because they are deathly afraid that they have nobody to run against DeSantis.

They'd have to get the republicans to make the move for them, and frankly I'm getting the feeling that the republicans are happy to let the white house flounder and fail. They're building up a lot of goodwill and support at the state level for those decisions, and their job is easier on that front when the federal gov is headed by someone spouting Deluded nonsense that changes every three days.

totally this. 25th'ing Biden 6 months after inauguration confirms everything Trump has been saying about a stolen election and Democrats put up a puppet to be controlled. The legitimate democrat voters would be so disgusted with the party it would dissolve within the year. but the Democrats don't have any good options...Biden is incapable and literally will fall asleep if our Nation was attacked. Kamala was chosen to look progressive while she couldn't garner 1% of the Democrat primary vote..everyone hates her. I managed to get quite a bit of overtime working fast food. You had people bitch to high heaven that "I need hours" til they learned someone was having a party on Friday then they would try to dump those hours on anyone who wanted them.

Then again, management was salaried, worked at least 50 hours, and was required to come in if no one else would cover a shift. Median pay now is 42k with lower end at 30k, so they weren't getting paid much better than minimum wage.
