I wouldn't be that sure. Now I do think there is some unique culture in Pakistan that pushed trans as a cure for gays but I think fundamentalist western christians also have reasons why trans is easier to accept than gay.

Most people including fundamentalist want to have a relationship with their child, but in fundamentalist circles you kinda have push people away if they don't conform with their values, that's a large reason why they keep their members. The fear of excommunication gives a reasons to stay and not question things because you don't want to loose all your current friends and there is enough truth in there because it allows you to push actually harmful people out too. Then your kid turns out gay and you're expected to punish them for it by throwing them out. You don't really want to do that but gays are so common that everyone knows that gay is a sin and what to do about it. Then your child comes with a thing that says they aren't sinful but merely sick and there is a cure called transitioning. Some parents won't buy it, just another sin and changing genders is impossible, but others will eagerly take the excuse to have their child in fully their lives again.

That's just a normal woman. Her voice sounds normal to me. Mannerisms are a bit weird but she could be autistic or just nervous on camera.

An Adam's apple also isn't that weird in females, because the Adam's apple is just cartilage around the larynx that everyone has, rather than something that men have and women do not. Men usually have a lot more cartilage there, obviously, but if you see a woman with a little bit of a lump there it just means she has a bigger larynx than average.
