How hard can it be to teach kids how to fucking read?! We have literal centuries of experience perfecting education procedures. You just need to get the teaxhers to read up on that shit and apply it...

That is debatable but tl;dr, while many segments of IQ is technically meant to be age independent due to limitations inherent in its measurement it is normal for IQ to change with age. (for example language related values for obvious reasons increase with age. And all values in general increase with practice so the test can basically be "fooled" just by doing similar enough exercices common in things like puzzle games.)

Also actually some IQ values are indeed age dependent, which is for instance why statistically younger people learn faster than older people.

Are those journals taking the approach of "Apartheid was so traumatizing that it drove those poor Bantus to enact self-destructive policies like this"? The society-wide equivalent of Injuns being alcoholics and druggies because of residential schools (allegedly).

So apparently South Africa has been trying to encourage "indigenous languages" and have sacrificed English to do this. Of course, kids come out of this learning neither English or whatever language the school tried to force on them. Illiterate teachers probably did not help either.

Yeah, and sadly that started with Apartheid, too. Due to a myriad of reasons (each dumber than the last) Apartheid decided to let the local nigger denominations keep all their traditions, language, culture and more importantly: way of life and social structure. Now I for one find preserving culture a worthwhile endeavor, but the last two items on the list caused niggers to be this way because it let them stay niggers. Something post-Apartheid government not only didn't stop but even enhanced, much to the countries dismay.

By comparison, Portuguese colonies whitewashed the fuck out of their niggers, and the result is that basically every successful black nation is a portuguese ex-colony. (not blaming apartheid for this. Though they had their chance to fix it and missed it, but the post-apartheid have had more than enough time to fix it. My point is, this is a serious problem south africa has been dragging since literally forever since their original anglo overlords had the stupid notion that they somehow could have benefits from letring goons stay goons.)

But were the perpetrators normal and mentally well people, or naturally occuring psychopaths that took the opportunity to act on their urges without consequences?

All I'm saying is that a guy who gores the fuck out of a looter, then keeps mutilating the corpse instead of just shooting him and being done with it, is not a mentally well adjusted human being.
You won't convince me thats normal, healthy behavior.

After people have been subject to enough suffering they can commit acts of extreme violence through no other reason other than accumulated resentment and adrenaline. This is no indicative of them being mentally unwell in the long run, though counseling would be recommended after they have undergone such a situation.
