Don't you always come out with this worst case scenario, "surely the apocalypse is going to happen tomorrow, followed by all the niggers turning into lizards and China rooting for the Yankees" bullshit in every current event thread? Last one I remember was you (or was it someone else) going on about bombings in the Miami condo one. Order gets restored by everyone getting bored and going home, then the 99.98 percent of the country that isn't a mall continues on as normal.

If the Cape were to secede, would they need heavy border security? I'm not sure how Botswana and Namibia get away with what I'm guessing would be relatively lax security, but the difference in prosperity between an independent Cape with a productive society and the remainder of South Africa with all that warlord shit going on unabated could result in a similar scenario to the USA-Mexico border. Or at least that's how it looks from my armchair.

Maybe there's something I'm missing that those with greater knowledge of South African history/demographics would know.

Dimitri Tsafendas, the guy who killed the then prime minister of South Africa, Hendrik Verwoerd, might spin in his grave now there's a bigger SOBs than Verwoerd like Jacob Zuma.

I think it's north of 60, probably more, but a thing with urban youths is a love of pose, so some sort of ineffectual gangster style of shooting seems to be a thing.
