Better for whites in some regards, not better for blacks. Although I do often here the idea thrown around that many black people are living in conditions not much better than under apartheid, and I can't be sure about it but I've seen a fair number of squatter camps to think there might be some truth to that.

Most Zimbabweans are only a few generations removed from Britain, the English South Africans tend to have been here longer.
South Africa was originally a Dutch East Indian Trading... well colony is a strong word it was more like a pitstop on the way to India. Dutch and German (largely) workers were imported to staff and run it. In time they allowed those workers to start farming and also allowed missionary work (there seems to have been a fear that they might upset the locals if they interacted too much... they weren't wrong), and so the association of the farmer or Boer arose among those of Dutch/German origin. In time French refugees also got added to the mix, the Hugonotes as they were being persecuted by the Catholics.
Anyway eventually Britain annexed the the Cape Colony (think it might have switched hands a bit) and with this came the British. Now the British were given administrative positions (and this probably explain to a degree a varying degrees of superiority that those of British decent feel towards those of German/Dutch/French decent). This eventually led to the Great Trek, a lot of fighting with black people, and then the Algo-Boer wars that further cemented some cultural antagonism (being put in concentration camps has a way of making you not like people). It's probably best encapsulated in a derogatory term for those of British decent "soutie" / "soutpiel" literally translating to "salt penis" since they had one foot in England one foot in Africa leaving their penis to hanging in the sea.
This antagonism is not so bad in Cape Town, hardly exists, but there are small Afrikaans town where they won't even try talking English to you if you're white and in the Eastern Cape in places like East London (that's a city by the way) and Port Elizabeth (apparently renamed Gqeberha) the English speakers there still strongly hold a view of anglo-superiority, viewing Afrikaaners as dumb and dirty.

So you're not too wrong, there's definitely 2 major branches of white people.

A good example is the story of Piet Retief. He was a leader of one of the Treks. When they entered Zulu lands they approached the Zulu leader Dingane (Shakas half brother and assassin) and negotiated for lands. The Zulu and I believe the Matabele had been in conflict, and the Matabele had stolen some cattle, Dingane agreed to let the Voortrekkers settle so long as they retrieved the cattle. The Boer commandos (horseback rifleman) were very successful and brought back the cattle. During the celebration of the agreement Dingane ordered his men to "kill the wizards" and Piet Retief and his entourage were beaten dragged to a hill and Piet Retief was gutted and left for the animals to eat. Interestingly they did find the treaty document agree to Voortrekker settlement on Retief's body later. Anyway after killing Retief they sent out the zulu warriors to attack his trek, killing everyone there, mashing open the heads of babies on wagon wheels.
It didn't end so well for Dingane though, when the Zulus tried attack the second wave of Trekkers they were prepared and it led to the Battle of Blood River which was a massive loss for the Zulus. with the Voortrekkers going on to support Mpande overthrow Dingane to become the new Zulu King.

You forget that afterward they'll demand that the government rebuild all the things they destroyed.
There's a very strong gibs-me mentality among a lot of blacks in South Africa.

The problem is that the leader of the EFF: Julius Malema

Doesn't like Zuma, because Zuma kicked him out of the ANC (essentially off of the gravy-train). Julius was a shit stirrer and that was fine so long as he was causing trouble for the DA and other political parties but then he started making trouble for Zuma... The entire rioting and looting started because Zuma got arrested after all so it would seem strange for Malema to be outrage by Zuma going to jail, or for that matter any of his followers. Also he's too retarded to be a machiavellian mastermind

But a quick google search does bring up some interesting articles...

He was suspended for a while for the following tweets apparently

Seems Juju's twitter is back up. https://twitter.com/Julius_S_Malema
Obviously he's going to tell the story of the riots from an anti-white anti-establishment angle (because he belong to a minor political party and his platform is largely wealth redistribution or take from the whites to give to the blacks).

His timeline is a treasure trove of anti-establishment (with a sprinkle of anti-white) retweets.
So it seems Juju is pushing for this to be seen as a race thing.
Ok that's all very interesting and informative, but where's the part that explains why they haven't figured out how to farm in 30 something years?

lol, found this while flipping through shit on jewtube
yt1s.com - Why South Africa is still so segregated.mp4
While normally this is a blue pill, it's absolutely a redpill in the context of this thread. Journos are your enemy. They will run propaganda against you until it leads to your genocide and then they will simply wash their hands of it after they get what they want. This video was posted on April 12, 2021. Just a few months ago they were keen to talk about South Africa. Now that it doesn't fit their narrative, and their goal has been accomplished, complete silence.
The best part of that video is the recents comments dropped by some commenters. How long before Vox disable the comments?

And there's one video who aged well now.

That is genuinely scary.
Like yeah, niggers, but it could happen anywhere. The whole virus shit was to push this kind of thing - unadulterated chaos.

They tried it in HK, then bam - magical virus appears - then they tried it in the US and the rest of the west last summer, then "supply chain hacks" earlier this year, now Cuba, Haiti and SA.

It's succeeding in places that were on the brink anyway, but as the US saw last summer, it could legit happen anywhere.

They keep pushing their Global Reset, World Gov bullshit all the while, never laying off, only doubling down.

Abortion wasn't about women's choice. It was about social hygeine: preventing crime, mitigating disease and famine, and limiting the number of "social undesirables" being born
I've never understood being against abortion. When kids aren't wanted they aren't cared for.
Kids that aren't cared for grow up to be adults that don't know how to function. (That is, if they aren't murdered or neglected to death first.)
Do we really need more cases of neglected kids murdered by their stepparents or more brain dead adult looters on every corner?

If you're worried. It costs like $100 to put enough flour, sugar, salt, powdered milk, dried and canned shit in your basement to live for a year. Then you can just eat it and replace it as it comes within a few months of it's expiry date.

I've done it since the great recession in 2008. People will say it's paranoid doomer shit, but it's $100. Why wouldn't you do it? Like, I actually don't understand why people don't do it. It's not different than buying house insurance. When the pandemic first came to the west back in March 2020 and there was a bunch of chaos, I legit didn't leave the house/my yard for a good 2-3 weeks and I didn't have to go to the grocery store and deal with all the retards. Why wouldn't you give yourself the ability to lay low in your house for a while if the shit hits the fan? What do you have to lose by doing it?

Don't spend your extra $100 on funko pop. Spend it on canned tomatoes.

*Edit* $100 for a year may be stretching it, but you get my point.

I partially blame this horribly toxic idea in Western culture that 'forgiveness is for you, not for the perpetrator' that Oprah and Phil and others peddle. Bullshit, stay angry. You can get a lot done out of anger and even out of spite. You shouldn't let it consume you but forgiving the murderer of your child is despicable.
No Heinrich Heine has it right you should always try and forgive your enemies.

Apparently they have I mean

LOL. No.

How are you going to cook that shit? Do you have a generator? Where is the fat coming from in your diet, planning to live off local fauna like everyother starving person if the SHTF? Where are you getting your treated water from? Are you fortunate enough to have a well?

Bugging in is a legit plan but if you really think SA is going to happen where you live the time to get out is now. Accept any trade off because SA isn't going to recover in your lifetime. Find a place where people have values you can live with (maybe they're too religious, maybe they don't like new people, maybe you can convince them to warm up to you - it doesn't have to be perfect) and where you will know and trust your neighbors and plan to be part of a community.

Having years of food on hand is one thing but SA is going through something remarkable, they're losing their power grid, recently there were concerns they'd run out of water. Soon there will be no professional class to speak of because anyone who could get out got out and there will be no one actually running the place with any real skill. You can't prep around this shit.

Even Bloomberg can't bring themselves to journosplain this one away.
  • Calling it a riot
  • reporting that the government wants private citizens to step in because the police and military are overwhelmed
  • Reporting on the incoming food shortage
What difference a new year, new venue, and new president makes when reporting on a Mostly Peaceful Summer of Love.

Do you have a generator?
Yes. I also have a woodstove and a propane bbq.

Are you fortunate enough to have a well?
Yes

I live on an island with the population density of North Dakota. Having things like wells, generators, trailers up in the woods and ATVs is very common where I live. Not everyone lives in a globalist urban shithole. I don't think South Africa is happening here where the population is 90 odd percent white anytime soon, but if it happens in say, Toronto, it's going to affect the supply chain here.

Power leveling, but the coronavirus thread was advance warning and let my circle stock up on shit before all the lockdowns started and get family that was overseas home.
Having a stock of supplies that lets you bunker down for even a month is worth its weight in gold, and I can't stress that enough how nice that was to have during the peak of the pandemic.

Ok so here's what's really killing me about this whole thing, all the looting, all the rioting, the violence. Free Zuma right?

Have they even tried to storm the prison lmao?

Stocking up on food is a waste of money just make notes on where all the old people and small women who live alone are in your neighbourhood.
