But not one you can really refute, I see. Look, I think there might be a tad bit of truth to your point, but I don't see why it can't be both reasons.

Instincts, and evolution might play a small part in it, but honestly, I think a bunch of actually oppressed people metaphorically blowing off some steam after being kicked in the dick one too many times makes much more sense.

That's not what I meant. When I meant oppressed, I meant actually having to live under a famine, a harsh drought, extreme violence, and a blatantly and overtly corrupt government.

Just look at what South Africans have had to put up with in just the past two years, let alone the past decades, and suddenly things going to shit makes a lot more sense.

The existence of South African cities and infrastructure demonstrates that all of the problems in Africa aren't the result of a totally-uninhabitable environment, but rather the unfixable stupidity of the indigenous people. Also crime skyrocketed, cities fell and the economy deteriorated after the end of apartheid. If anyone has suffered the most in Africa it's their white minority.

tbf iirc the environment really is mostly uninhabitable, too and it's strictly through constant effort and upkeep it ever worked at all
the legend as I understand about South Africa is the Dutch got to Africa very late, were told "fuck off, we're full" and found some barely workable territory close to the South Pole that nobody wanted

I am? Okay then, sorry I wasn't specific enough for you. I thought you'd have gotten what I was talking about without me having to go into extreme detail about the entire history of South Africa.

I'm well aware of its "history". Moreover, I've been to SA, and you couldn't pay me to go back.

Facts are facts: The ANC have been incapable of maintaining order, safety, and stability since they replaced the Apartheid government. Africans, especially when fueled by racial bloodlust, cannot govern a mound of dung.
 
Growing up I've always had a fascination with the aesthetics of the "old days", especially Victorian England and 1800s/turn of the century America.

The architecture, the clothes and especially the technology, zeppelins/airships, steam engine trains, steamships etc.

Could an aesthetic be reflective of the "soul" of a society? All I know is I prefer all that stuff to the aesthetics of rioting blacks, which is getting pretty old.
 
So I guess this puts to bed the meme of Based Zulus being the great black bulwark of an anti-ANC, pro-law & order coalition. The need to nog is greater than any IFP loyalties it seems.
 
Africa is going to be an absolute hellhole in the coming decades. All of the animosity held by the dozens of different ethnic populations for each other has finally reached a tipping point. America and Britain won't have the ability or care to bring stability to the region anymore, so the countries are now left to fend for themselves which will end in bloody wars.

In a shellnut things are gonna get exponentially worse for the entire continent.
