US Dr. Fauci Tells People To "Get Over It" And Suggests Mandating COVID-19 Vaccines After FDA Approval

Dr. Anthony Fauci told CNN’s Jake Tapper on Sunday’s edition of “State of the Union” that vaccines should be mandated on a “local level.” Covid-19 vaccines in the United States are currently under an emergency use authorization rather than full approval by the Food and Drug Administration. However, Fauci predicted that once the vaccines receive full FDA approval, we would see “a lot more mandates.” Fauci also told Tapper that “these vaccines are as good as officially approved with all the I’s dotted and the T’s crossed. It hasn’t been done yet because the FDA has to do certain things, but it’s as good as done.” Fauci did not specifically mention what the FDA needs to do to grant the vaccines full, official approval. The Biden Administration has stopped short of suggesting a national vaccine mandate but has said they plan to go door-to-door to inform Americans of the wonders of inoculation.

Dr. Fauci is not the only person pushing for vaccine mandates. A recent op-ed by CNN contributor Julian Zelizer insists “collective obligations have always been part of what actually makes America great.” Zelizer goes on to say, “requiring vaccination must be at the heart of our public health agenda.”

Leana Wen of CNN and the Washington Post took to Twitter to urge the Biden administration to “get behind vaccine requirements.”

Wen also suggested on a CNN panel discussion that life should be made difficult for those who chose not to get vaccinated. “We need to make vaccination the easy choice, it needs to be hard for people to remain unvaccinated… Hey, you can opt-out, but if you want to opt-out, you have to sign these forms, you have to get twice-weekly testing,” she said.
Wen, a fierce supporter of vaccines, once famously said, “we have a very narrow window to tie reopening policy to vaccination status… if everything is reopened, then what’s the carrot going to be? How are we going to incentivize people to actually get the vaccine?” She also penned an op-ed in the Washington Post suggesting the Biden Administration make vaccines mandatory.

This push for mandatory vaccinations comes on the heels of Pfizer announcing they would be seeking approval for a third dose of its covid-19 vaccine. As well as Fauci recently stating that the vaccine-hesitant population should “get over it,” and vaccines should not be made political, despite the Vice President on record making the vaccine purely political.
While some have praised Fauci for his seemingly scientific points of view, others remain critical of his ever-evolving pseudo-scientific recommendations. At one point, Fauci stated that we would be lucky to have a vaccine in 12-18 months and that masks were unnecessary but “might block a droplet.” We have already seen push back against Biden’s proposed door-to-door vaccination efforts and calls to end mask mandates on public transit. It seems as though these battles over vaccine requirements and mask mandates are just getting started.

I worry at how much glee people seem to have at the idea of the government forcing people to undergo some medical treatment. I can understand if you see it as some sort of necessary evil. But some people just seem excited about giving the government this kind of power and having medical decisions forced onto those they disagree with as a sort of punishment.

go snort crack
That's not how crack works, kiddo.

Real communist hours.

Fauci is just asshurt that everything that Trump said about him was right and everything Fauci said about both Trump and Covid was wrong. This is him basically throwing a temper tantrum.

That would go just as well as everything else Fauci has recommended from AIDS to coof.

It's the far Left that endorse this fascist crap and they see it as a necessary action so the world can be cleansed and the vile and truly evil Trump supporters.

so how many years before government mandates puberty blockers for children?
Well, I've already seen trannies say that it is "child abuse" to deny "trans" kids things like puberty blockers.

So, it's probably not that far off. If you object to letting your underage child troon out, then you'll be getting a stern and swift visit from CPS.

Bob Chipman is just the id of the average librull.

I suggest he "get over it" and accept the fact I'm not taking his jab.

Free people have the right to make wrong ( and "wrong" ) choices.

A man who can't say "no" to a reasonable request is not free. I've said that before but I'm going to keep saying it because it continues to be relevant whenever the words 'mandatory' and 'public" get used together.

Also "collective obligations" are not a thing. Obligations are always PERSONAL, as in someone signed a contract.... if you can't show me where I signed, you don't have shit.

Have fun being a serf - the ruling class simply hasn't admitted it yet. Free men were only free for as long as they could bring the ruling class down to their level, and international flights stripped that ability from everyone.

Hey dumbass, this ain't China or NK you can't force me to do shit! Now go snort crack off of a deathfat stripper's asshole
Its more like go back to "investigating" those gay bars like you did in the 80s.

Murder somebody and use that argument in court. Bonus points if you talk about admiralty flags and the color of law.

Yeah that's the kind of response that really makes me inclined to listen to someone.

"You don't agree with me? Get over it! You still don't agree with me? Then I'll tie you down and force myself upon you."
