There’s only one person I can think of who went from being downright hated by an entire community to becoming completely forgiven by those very same people:
Maybe Slazo? His thread was created around the time when James Charles and ProJard were also getting cancelled for alleged sexual crimes/degeneracy, though once Slazo gave his side of the story, the thread focused far more heavily on the misdeeds of his former friends and malicious ex-gf trying to ruin him (it even lead to ImAllexx earning his very own thread down the line).

However, I’m hesitant to call Slazo a cow in the first place considering the guy had no prior history of getting into drama or acting like a total weirdo, and the thread itself focused solely on the dubious allegations at the time. Yes, he did manage to go through a true redemption arc, though I still wouldn’t consider him as any kind of cow.
Regarding Greg, I just assumed that he would’ve faded away into irrelevancy after his break up with Shoe. So much for that.
 
I just love that shoe is so boring people discuss anything but her. Even when her nudes got leaked, people cared more about the Swedish gaybro and her mess of a room. She vould hero herself and conversation will go off topic in under a page

If you thought he was a decent guy I just don’t know what to tell you. Literally, it was obvious to me that he was completely thoughtless and careless toward other people but I don’t know what tips me off to that.

Maybe it was just assuming the least charitable version of events with his breakup with Shoe, maybe it was his ego and manchild nature, or maybe it was just his face. I suppose it just came down to a Bayesian calculus: in order to find him innocent I have to believe he is someone I have been given no sign of being. And by believing he is guilty I only have to believe he’s a cad behind closed doors, which is easy to believe from his appetite and thirst.

but enough of that, didn’t he say the Aussie “broke his heart”? lmao, that’s as big a cliche as a woman saying “my ex was an abusive narcissist for years.”

I honestly forget why I thought Greg was the sane one in the relationship when he was openly hitting on traps during their relationship.

I assume you’re a guy and guys tend to side with guys in break-ups. The only reason I didn’t is because e-celeb guys, and girls, are entitled creatures. At that point he’d made a promise to Shoe to not leave her alone at 30 and he had years to break it off before then. That told me what I needed to know.
Add in his thirsting, and the subservience he inspired or permitted in Shoe, and he’s just that guy who treats girls like dirt that you eventually come to find out is shady and unreliable in general. Many such cases.

I think it was because it looked like Greg was growing and Shoe wasn't. He was dating someone who was more mature than Shoe (before we knew he just up and abandoned her), he seemed happy, and wanted to go back to making the videos he wanted to make instead of political BS. Shoe on the other hand continued her stagnant grifting and thirst trapping.

Turns out Greg wasn't actually evolving and was just the same level of shit he always was. The lesson is it's too easy to pick a side in edrama when both sides can be shit and that leopards don't change their spots.

It was probably because he didn't shit talk her, kept his head down, quietly moved on and found a woman who was mostly age appropriate for him in the immediate aftermath of the breakup that gave people the impression he wasn't a retarded piece of shit in all other aspects of his life

Nearly everyone in internet famous aside from maybe Sargon has had one or more redemption arcs. They just fuck up hilariously and in public almost immediately because they are all attention seeking retards
