I felt like this belonged here :cryblood:, this is supposed to be Arthur Morgan from red dead redemption 2.

It's a graphic novel about a girl's soccer team called the Bloodhounds that goes through a lot of drama and middle school problems. Now, that seems tame at first, but once you see the book, you might wanna take a second glance.

Here are the characters I know the most about.

Faith (she's the girl in the center): shy, the voice of reason I guess: shown to like girls and I think is dating one of the girls. Mentions she has two aunts. She's a pretty boring protagonist tbh.

Marie: Very stubborn and rude, seems like she doesn't give a crap half the time. Her hair looks like it's never washed and has a lot of acne. Dating one of the soccer members; who so happens to come out as a trans dude later in the book (which stirs up more drama). In a band, I think.

Sodacan (yes that's her name, she's the fat blonde): independent and proud of what she does, but very childish and doesn't think before she speaks. Steals a fucking chicken from her friend's chicken coop with Faith once and apparently kills it. Also in a band.

Bulldog and Warthog (the two girls at the bottom, matching): I didn't really care for them, just know they like matching with one another and that Faith blushed at the sigh of one of their bra straps.

Jalissa: the tall girl, is like the only friendly one with no drama wh actually takes soccer seriously.

Zoe (the girl with two different colored hair) is one of those kids that is a pain in the ass, doesn't care at all about anything. Implied that she likes girls and I think she and Faith like one another but IDK.

Sammy: (the trans dude): the really fucking short kid, that wears an oversized shirt for most of the book. Comes out as trans later in the book and is dating Marie (which creates EVEN more drama).

That's all the characters I could remember (or that I cared about), but there was another fatty, a Muslim, and another girl who's is literally named after the letter V (she moves and quits after the first few chapters, good for her) I remember being really bored about it. The characters are unlikeable and rude for the most part (mostly Marie and Sodacan) and they're not even good at soccer, that in the final chapters, they run off the field after realizing they aren't going to win, irritating the other team while the bark at them (like what young SJWS do)

In the last chapter, one of the girls who let Faith join the team gets harassed by them (they bark at her until she runs off, calling them weird). For me, the book was a 5/10, wasn't badddd per se but also wasn't something I'll read over and over.

If you're wondering about the author, her name is Cathy G. Johnson, and is genderqueer (but goes by she/her pronouns) and works at a feminist printing place.
She's also a writer and artist who's done more paintings than books (that are really good tbh)

It's a shame we don't see much of this style. Compared to the one used in the graphic novel, the novel looks really... tumblery while this looks like it had passion and thought put into this. Oh well...

The art is actually really good, why did she resort to a generic SJW-ish artstyle? I feel she could've done something cartoony while also keeping elements from her more detailed art.
