If dad-of-the-year TransCucumber is trying to live off of couchsurfing and e-begging, he might be doing intentional poverty to avoid paying child support. Getting a job and not being a hobo would mean that he'd actually have to fullfill his responsibility to the child he created, and we can't have that.
