Judge: Dear Mr. Chauvin - you stand guilty of slightly kneeling on a black man and causing his drug-riddled body to die. For that, you are sentenced to death - But only after 60 years of being gangraped by violent black men with AIDS in a solitude holding cell. Monsters like you must be put away for life. Im guessing the city/FD also has to take into consideration that if the FD works too closely with the police then they may be considered as more "justified" targets by the mob as well.

So basically 20 years with time served and good behavior. Big, but he will get out in his 60's if I have his age right.

Obviously, I think the appeals will be interesting. I'm expecting a retrial at minimum.

In Minnesota isn't the last 1/3 of your sentence probation? So he'll be out in 15 not counting good behavior.

Now we wait for the chimpouts because he didn't get life or even 30.

They denied the retrial today. I'm sure there will be years of appeals, but the reality is, there will be no justice for Chauvin here. The intention was to make an example of him, and that's exactly what they did.
