Have to say i'm surprised more ironic fans aren't buying the membership. Plenty of people cheered $5 for a shitty message and an immediate ban and this didn't seem much different. Maybe they're still doing superchats haven't paid attention to them to know. Thought for sure some idiots would take the bait though it's tough to decide if Phil wanted them to do the same or this really was the result he wanted.

Not necessarily related to just Phil, but it's possible there just isn't enough of an incentive for people to purchase youtube membership, in contrast to a twitch subscription.

I found this video and the first thing it reminded me of is Piggy
