So really crying about nothing again, but the logic on that statement had me wondering what the fuck he thinks the L stands for that it excluded transpeople. Heath is in for a nasty surprise. St Peters Andrology Centre in Harley Street is the only centre in the UK that can perform phalloplasty on the NHS, but they don't currently have a contract with any hospital to use their operating theatre.

No phalloplasty can go ahead for quite some time, and there's also a massive backlog since they were deemed elective back in March 2020 and suspended due to covid. Even if St Peters is able to tender a contract, there's also a massive surgical backlog for other things that were suspended due to covid, so operating theatres are harder to book.

If Heath gets that second signature, no guarantee of getting seen in the next 4-5 years, unless there's a spare £70k lying around (doesn't look like it).

I would never try to downplay the aggression and entitlement of TiMs, but realistically it would most likely be taken down by TiFs who don't like being told that only women are physically capable of having a miscarriage. It's the same thing that happened to r/PCOS and why JK Rowlings "Wimpund" tweet was so triggering. TiFs keep on getting a free pass with us transphobes because we assume that only men could be that aggressive and entitled, but mentally ill women can occasionally hate women just as effectively as the mentally ill men.
