I never said it was a good idea that we have AI controlled distribution and production.

In my opinion, the further we diverge away from close-knit agrarian communities where people have a sense of 'belonging', the more depressed, socially degenerative, and suicidal the general populace will become. Just look at June: she is all by herself and the effects of that loneliness are evident in how she attaches herself to anything with a penis and a room-temperature IQ.
You said there's no reason it couldn't happen, when there is a glaring reason.
But I wasn't trying to derail the thread, I just wanted to know what drugs make people that optimistic.

Only a retard would be dumb enough to become a genetic dead end, by pursuing a shitty career as a youtuber, and as some C-tier septic's squeeze. Septicism is maladaptive for supporting first wave feminism. Having a career and a family is too big acrobatic feat for everyone to do. Women in the workplace was initially pushed by popularizing these "super" women, who were able to have it all.

She is bald and has a mental disability or psychiatric disorder because she eats her own hair (Rapunzel syndrome). Can't wait for the Fridays stream, where null burns the bald old hag 🥚🕚

Part of me feels bad for her when Null lays into her... but she’s proven she only responds, in fact best responds, to negative reinforcement. It’s like being dommed, emotionally.

Yeah, at this rate she's gonna fall in love with him.
She's gonna have to start eating more.

It's not even a question of art or some cottage industry. There are entire flourishing industries today that were not just dead as recently as the early 2000s but almost entirely forgotten.

This shit isn't even countenancing entire huge portions of the service industry where a human touch and conversation are considered to be part of the experience that people will pay premiums and tip for.

I guess I'm saying we've already seen a quite substantial reaction in the opposite direction of automation from people wanting hand crafted whatever yadda yadda I only see this trend continuing as automation proliferates.
There's the rub, its all premium. Quality, non-automated services and products are basically only afforded to the middle class and up, both because the people such things appeal to are wealthy douchebags and because money has depreciated in value so much that the only way to break-even is to produce things for pennies.

Do you want decent non-chain coffee? Well so do all these hipsters and they're willing to pay $15 for it. Do you want clothes that aren't trash? Then you better be prepared to blow a substantial portion of your paycheck on them. They're often designed around fashion trends which will have disappeared in a few months, so the benefit of having clothes which last is quickly made moot.

Then you have to worry about items and services with a premium price-tag and deceptive marketing strategies that make them appear handmade when they're really repackaged from the production-line. Ever heard of the brand Made in Italy?

And yet decently priced non-chain coffee still exists. Just don't go to the hipster coffee bar. Massive hyperbole BTW.

Yeah anyone who owns anything not made in China is just richy rich flaunting that daddy money.

You don't have to worry about this bullshit when you dress like an adult.

WTF are you talking about. Are you seriously telling me that poor people don't pay for premium goods in 2021? You don't know any poor people do you?

Is there any type of product where deceptive marketing isn't a problem? Are we supposed to feel bad for uninformed consumers now?

You say that like we haven't seen an explosion in boutique/handcrafted/farm-to-table bullshit over the past twenty years.

Are we supposed to believe that everyone is just going to go "cool all my shit is made by a robot now" and not seek out the prestige of handcrafted goods and services?
The thing is that we already are ok with it. The practical reality is that for any product to be made for any amount of mass-market you need automation. Do you drive a car? Do you use electronics? These all are manufactured, these all are built by automation. And the problem is it keeps getting better. I work car manufacturing, first in the line, and then management. In one of my zones there was a section that built and attached doors. It used to be one person a door. Then a machine was made that cut that down to 2 people. Now no one does that part, because a newer machine was made. That is 4 jobs becoming none in just a decade, and that was just one part of a multi-mile long line that is always being optimized.

The practical reality is that there are people who really can't do much more than physical labor. About ten percent of the American population is in manufacturing. It was a good way for hard working people to make a reasonable amount of money, and when that goes away their quality of life drops when they have to take much lower paying jobs. A lot of people say the answer is that we train them in maintenance, but I promise you this is a fantasy. In my entire line we have two maintenance technicians a shift. That's four people total. We don't need any more, because with just that many our longest downtime is about 5 minutes.

I don't know the solution, but I'm not gonna act like it isn't a problem because of that.

All of this is incredibly off topic though. It was better after her nudes were leaked, and back then every post was hornyposting. Is there any more info on that thing pregory was tweeting about?

Really? Where do you buy your clothes then? Because literally every clothes store I've ever step foot in has either been fast-fashion trash, marginally above fast-fashion trash in quality but considerably above it in price or precisely what I described. Or do you expect people to dress like reviewbrah everywhere they go?

I am a poor person. My dad constantly buys premium goods and complains that he never has any money. He buys the expensive microwave meals so he can feel slightly less pathetic and he's in constant debt. Nobody in my family owns property, they all live in an estate where they constantly pay rent and it's in-part due to paying for ridiculously priced food and clothes too often. Poor people buy that shit almost as much as middle class people, like it's hard-wired into them to appear richer than they are. But being able to buy something is not the same as being able to afford it and it effects their finances majorly.
Yeah anyone who owns anything not made in China is just richy rich flaunting that daddy money.
You know that's not what I mean. If the primary market is wealthy hipsters, and lets be honest anything that can be described as hand-made appeals primarily to them, then the prices will reflect that.

Believe it or not, stupid consumers don't just hurt themselves. Their bad habits also influence the options available to everyone. Did you know that certain products are drastically less likely to sell with a lower price tag, because people assume a lower price means lower quality regardless if that's really the case? Therefore, retailers will have to mark up the price if they want to shift units. And they won't make special exceptions to people who are aware of this, so enlightened consumers such as yourself are left with your dick in your hand.

And no, there will never be a point where the majority of consumers are wise enough to see through these things. I think you'd agree that the majority of people will always be idiots, no matter what. Wouldn't it be easier to prevent marketers from muddying the water to begin with?

Your family's problem is that they have no impulse control or ability to budget and that would be a problem no matter what regulations were put in place.
Or do you expect people to dress like reviewbrah everywhere they go?
God forbid people dress like grown-ups and not chav trash.

Your conception of the handmade market is incredibly narrow. I'm not sure that hipsters are in the market for custom handforged roofing hatchets but those exist.

June's gotta up her game and get catfished again. She's so boring not even Kiwi Farms wants to talk about her.

Shill: I'm doing a stream about June on the 22nd to celebrate her 30th birthday.

What are you getting her for her birthday? Chains? A new bunny? Another wig? A marriage proposal?

Can you title it, "June Lapine Officially Hits The Wall: A Celebration"?????

Josh already asserted his dominance over Shrek by using his site to smear him. The competition has been driven out. I bet June loves a man who takes charge like that.
