I remember back when Ryu came out for Smash 4, and nobody knew how to use him because he played closer to Street Fighter than he did Smash, which completely threw everyone off. I always thought that was hilarious because it exposes that Smash isn't a proper fighting game.
I mean granted it was an odd experience playing a traditional fighting game character in a party game, but then it kept happening as they introduced more fighting game characters.
I always knew Tekken was pretty advanced, never played it myself, but damn. It's gonna be hilarious seeing salty Smash players adapt to this kind of control scheme.
