There’s plenty of gay men who want relationships and aren’t into the hookup scene. They’re still not going to date an FTM because an FTM is a woman and gay men aren’t into women.

I lean the other way. On a knee-jerk, emotional level, there's horror in a suppurating, parasitic growth that looks like you could just cut it off, but there's even more horror in seeing rot burrowing into the healthy flesh of the trunk.

Monkey brain says that's gotta be scooped out, and that's way worse than being able to bash off the bad-bad with a sharp rock.

Sure, even a minority of a minority would represent a significant number of people. I don’t have any numbers to back it up but I suspect that gay men settle down as they get older just based on observations of my and older cohorts. To be fair straight men would have a lot more casual sex if they were able to.

Totally agree on the gay men not dating FTM. Guys who are into that are at most bi, not gay.
