Low hanging fruit. I didn't get to check twitter recently but I won't be surprised if she'd suddenly be invested in the art community given the whole shitshow regarding Creepshow Art/Shannon, like Omegon recently did.

I'm feeling creative, so I was inspired to write a story:

Shoeue's mom is at the grocery store doing the weekly shopping. She makes a turn to the frozen isle to check something off the list (a Kielbasa that June keeps requesting and never seems to eat..) when she sees Scarf-Girl's mom with a hot man. Since the Guidettes senses are twinkling and she wants some gossip, she greets SG's mom and asks her if this is her new boyfriend, to which SG's mom laughs and says that it's her son-in-law Chad, who joined her shopping since her daughter SG is pregnant with their third or fourth child and she's resting at home. SG's mom doesn't really care about the girl who bullied her daughter at school but she still asks:
SG's mom: « How about Shoeue? You must be missing her a lot! »
Shoe's mom is confused, not only she saw her daughter less than an hour ago but June also called a few minutes earlier to yell at her not to forget her Monster drinks!
SG's mom: « She's married to that guy from Buffalo no? » Shoe's mom doesn't know where to bury herself
Shoe's mom: « Engaged and he is from Canada. »
SG'S mom: « Still it's probably difficult to you that your daughter and her fiance are in Buffalo »
Shoe's mom: « They never moved in together » The poor Guidettes returns to her Catholic roots now and she is praying to Jesus, Maria and Joseph that the ground will swallow her
SG's mom: « So why did she move to Buffalo if her fiance is from Canada? »
Shoe's mom: « She wanted to live on her own for a bit »
SG's mom: « You mean she never left the house until then? » SG's mom can see the panic in the face of Shoe's mom and decides to change the topic.
SG's mom: « Okay so when is the wedding? »
Shoe's mom: « There won't be a wedding. They broke up »
SG's mom: « She and her fiance »
Shoe's mom: « Yes »
SG's mom: « From Canada »
Shoe's mom: « Yes » At this point SG's mom notices the mountain of Monster drinks in Shoe's mom cart and feels something that she never thought she will ever feel, schadenfraude.
SG's mom: « She is back living at home I'm guessing? »

In disappointingly non-fanfic related news, I'm sure, Greg's continued to post on Twitter despite his ominous self-cancelling prediction. Either what he did wasn't that bad, he lied about being cancelled for attention, or again he's trying to pretend it didn't happen... despite calling attention to whatever it theoretically was? Does anyone watch his podcast for whatever reason? He uploaded a new one the 14th, maybe he touches on whatever he was supposed to be cancelled over there, or someone asked about it.
 
I haven't been paying much attention to Shoe at all recently. So, from what I've gathered, she's finally done what every college liberal does their sophomore or junior year and discovered Huey Long? When was this? I'm so proud /sneed

Automation will create a bunch new type of jobs, though. And no matter how many robots you have, some jobs won't be replaced because it's impossible for machines to do certain jobs. Not OT, bc I know Shoe reads this, but I learned that last year during a revolt when our leftists burned down everything demanding more payment for farmers, while these same farmers explained they actually make good money and modern technology helps them to do their jobs faster and safer. It's after this protest in which socialists demanded the state to raise farmers salaries that many got fired because paying them more was impossible. And yes, the first to be fired were the women. I'll let you guess why.

Sure, some jobs will get lose if we become a society completely dependant on technology, but the solution is to adapt properly. That me, the conservative, is explaining this to Shoe, the liberal, is a plot twist I never saw coming...

By scheduling/rotating staff. I get 5 weeks of paid holidays per year, and get to keep those days for next year if I don't use them. Since last year was busy I've started 2021 with circa 2 months of PTO. That's pretty normal throughout Europe, in all industries and positions from retail to corporate.
