Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

They'll come back and Vote Blue No Matter Who. It makes sense to stab them in the back, he has their votes in the bag and keeps his donors happy.
Except that doesn't translate to reality. The problem with it is that there is an option that doesn't have them voting red either... simply not voting. "Vote Blue No Matter Who" is idiotic to raise as a reason why he can do it, because of a variety of reasons, so let's cover a couple.

1: The student vote is already incredibly fickle, it's hard enough to get out as is. As in, despite the idiotic saying, they historically -already do not vote-. Despite this fickle voting pattern, they are a reliable blue vote hence why they are so important. If there are 1,000,000 students in X region and only 10% vote, that still 100, 000 votes. Now, repress that vote. Stab them in the back, and have them be surrounded by the normal apathy. Well congrats, you just dropped that 10% to 1%.

2: "Vote Blue No Matter Who" historically is farcical and actually entirely untrue by how it's used. Now, what do I mean by this? Simple, it's actually false by all metrics outside of major cities, and -even then- only really holds inside the absolute democrat strongholds like San Francisco, New York, etc. Lets look at Detroit, a Dem stronghold outside the major coastal bubble. Solidly Blue right, no way that there could be any republican gains, right? Actually, since 2008 Republicans have steadily gained there. Slowly, but an increase of ~6% that's steadily increased cycle over cycle can't be ignored. Also, Dem Support has steadily decreased... except the last election where it saw a completely normal, not at all fake vote impacted bump of 2% with absolutely no correlated decrease in Republican votes.

In short, anyone who spouts "Vote Blue No Matter Who" as some sort of gotcha or counterpoint actually knows nothing about voting trends.

This is about the fourth or fifth time Biden has used the "I just got in give me a break" excuse.

Dude I am dying to watch Biden crash in real time. If you thought the Trump years were funny, just wait until Biden gets unmanageable (assuming he's actually demented, all we really know is he's not in great shape). Not only will there be an ever-increasing amount of ridiculous gaffes and pratfalls, but they will culminate in a total blowout, possibly an international incident or criminal offense, and/or actual impeachment or whatever removal for incompetency involves - that last will FORCE both the media and large parts of the fedgov apparatus to EAT SHIT and tell the truth for once.

I don't even care about the geopolitical fallout, yeah no shit we're gonna get clowned on by every other nation, but we (the people) already have been getting clowned on by half the world for decades. There's no real external military or invasion threat so relations will stabilize once retardo is gone. It'll be (and is already) a temporary embarrassment for anyone with a half-ounce of masculinity, but I'm not the one who has to go meet prime ministers and diplomats face to face (haha permacrats EATING SHIT again).

Dems are still talking about Trump.
Almost none of them are taking about Creepy Uncle Joe at all.. yet they claim we are obsessed and/or in a cult.
Go figure

What's happening right now isn't exactly what I thought a gaffe filled presidency would be. I thought it'll be a few more mildly racist comments about poor kids and white kids, or a sequel that talks about Corn Pop being buck broken, and maybe a few more mentions of Obama's big stick.

Not that I'm complaining.

I agree that Republicans are making big gains in unexpected places and are poised to continue doing so. I just think that the people who have been backstabbed on the particular issue of student loan debt (college graduates that get a shitty degree that they can't pay off) would be the ones to keep voting for the backstabbers.

First Arizona and now Michigan. What actually happens if it's revealed a sitting president didn't actually get enough votes to be elected? Is there any precedent here?
It won't actually change anything legally. The states have already chosen who won the election, so constitutionally the process is over.

What this would create is a massive black eye for the Democrats, who would now face incontrovertible evidence of not only fraud, but attempted concealment and collusion with big tech and media. All the Republicans would need to do is endlessly advertise this and the vast majority of independents drop off by either not voting or voting Republican

It would be completely uncharted territory if it were proven beyond a shadow of a doubt. I wouldn't even begin to know what happens after that.

Uncharted, but not unforseeable. Under assumption proof beyond doubt is provided we can actually draw out a fairly basic but comprehensive prediction.

1: The false president would immediately be stripped of any form of legitimacy on both a foreign and domestic level, this means that;
A: No state legislature or governorship would assist them.
B: Free reign to ignore any and every executive order, law signed in by, or even statement made by them.
C: No country would take the false presidents word for anything, in fact they'd likely refused outright to deal with the U.S.
2: Immediate move for impeachment. This would likely fail, actually, due to the massive partisanship of the current era though likely is not certainly which... is saying something. This is because:
A: Anyone who voted against the impeachment would suffer. Hard. Even the BLUEST areas would see hits though not necessarily loss outrights.
B: Was it vaguely purple? It's RED now.

The only real 'winnable' play at such a point is for Biden and Kamala to step down immediately, the House Speaker to take their place, and for them to voluntarily run a lame duck government until the next midterms or presidential election. At which point. It's going RED, very VERY red and anything even vaguely out of place during it will likely get mobbed. There would likely be murders.
