My theory is that until the Israeli-Palestinian thing escalated more in May of this year that she’d really didn’t care to learn about it because she’s basic. To be fair though, most people don’t care about that region to begin with, but it is odd that she chooses to bring it up more now despite Trump’s highly publicized Israel trip in 2017 and declaring Israel its own sovereign nation, on top of moving the US embassy there to Jerusalem before he left office. I really think Shoe doesn’t care about any international news unless 1. a Breadtuber she likes speaks about it, like Vaush or 2. it is headline news in the US. That said, Shoe herself is too basic for me to genuinely take her hot takes seriously, regardless if I sometimes agree.
