Twitter sleuths claim Scott Cawthon has been donating to various Republicans. The list includes names like Trump, Mitch McConnell and Kevin McCarthy

Animator Scott Cawthon started trending on Twitter on Thursday, June 10, after screenshots indicating that he made plenty of donations to former president Donald Trump and to the Republican party, went viral on the Internet. The source wasn't mentioned fearing threat of doxxing, however, Twitter seems to have dug up its own results.

Scott Braden Cawthon has a huge fan following as the creator of 'Five Nights at Freddy's, for which he provided the voice of Phone Guy. An Internet user shared a screenshot of his public filing and wrote, "Turns out scott cawthon, well-known as the creator of five nights at freddy's and less known as being a christian fundie, maxed out his political donations to republican candidates and PACs in 2020." Adding more screenshots, the person said, "Trump, McConnell, carson, nunes, the (s)hits." Sleuths on the Internet claiming to have hit upon this finding, say the list includes donations made to Trump, Mitch McConnell, Tommy Tubberville, Kevin McCarthy, Ben Carson and Tulsi Gabbard.

The person further said, "Some people might be tripped up by the lone dem on that list, tulsi gabbard, but if you look at her politics the picture becomes clear. she's a crypto-fash who's allied with hindutva militias, pushes anti-trans bills and appeared on PragerU..." and said that "Scott is notch minus the candy wall." The Twitter user further shared a link to Cawthon's public filing.

However, the animator is yet to reply to these findings.

Reacting to the series of revelations, one person said, "Scott cawthon donated to trump bro i am f*cking heartbroken." While another one said, "Learning that scott cawthon is a republican gives me all the more reason to pirate every five nights at freddys game it's not like its even hard LOL"

One Internet user said, "We are unanimously appalled by the discovery that Scott Cawthon has donated large sums to prominent republican figures. Scott Cawthon has done more to help society with his charity work than any outraged zoomer slamming their greasy thumbs on their iphone.

Stuff like this makes me worried we are headed towards something like the Irish troubles. When you have sperate news, social media, games, art, banks, etc. there is no shared society. That sort of separation makes it so much easier to justify atrocities.
 
I cant wait til zoomers hit their mid 20s and still haven't outgrown their child like mentality. Being replaced by the next generation is always harsh but I feel Zoomers have peaked narcissism compared to other generations.
