I usually don't feel bad for the parents of lolcows. Either they're crazy themselves (like Barb), or they're getting on with their lives and doing their best to ignore their horrible offspring (like Angelo).

But by all accounts, Striker's parents are relatively normal people who are just kind of stuck with him. Whatever their plans were, this bullshit was not part of it.
