I cut the cord a few years ago, so I don't see many commercials, but since I've been working from the house I consume a fair amount of Netflix and the like. I put it up on one of my monitors and kinda half ass pay attention to it while I work.
One of the things I've noticed is that you see a lot of mixed race couples in media where the woman is black and the man is white. Maybe I'm delving into tinfoil hat territory here, but my theory is that they're trying to normalize it. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with dating outside your race (hell, I married outside of mine) but years ago there were articles about how black females had the lowest number of responses on dating websites. I think that's a factor.
The other thing I've noticed is that if you watch television programs geared towards teenagers and young adults, there's always a tranny. One of the big plot points in Sabrina the Teenage Witch (of all things) is that one of the main characters has decided that she's going to become a man and her great grandmother, who shows up as a ghost, did the same thing in the 1850's (God, I wish I hadn't seen the Sopranos like 15 times). Another Netflix program has a character that's basically a black man dressed in drag (rather obviously too) and he's apparently a big part of the story.
Again, I don't think this is indicative of what the general population looks like. I went to H.S. with one dude who's decided to become a chick (and he's said some shit on Facebook that makes me wonder whether or not he's done something inappropriate with his kids) and that's the only tranny I've run across.
I don't think this is a case of media reflecting what's going on in society but instead a case of media trying to push a narrative and score some 'woke' points in the process.
