Actually yeah which is weird because I went to school in bumfucknowhereistan. It has been surprising for me tbh just to see everyone act like this is some revolutionary shit that just came out. My class learned about Tulsa in 8th grade, same year we learned about the tuskegee syphilis study and the fun time the US army bombed a bunch of coal miners

thats alot of rounds down range.. we were taught to try to single fire. we only had 2 in the whole class of drafties that could get under 3 shots.
later when i was in officer school(i dropped out after 13 months because they were downsizing and i got 12k per year of contract if i leave).
we trained till everybody got atleast to 2 shots. we were drilled to get the men to use the MG as efficient as possible because bullets are heavy to carry.
We also got to see what happens if you burn out a barrel. took 30s of constant fire and was scary as shit, the gun moaned and it cut a line of trees down.

If he makes it to 2023, I will not put it pass Joe to come down to Wilmington, NC to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the 1898 insurrection where white Democrats forced duly elected black Republican city officials to resign and massacred black citizens. I've been vaguely aware of it most of my life probably due to where I grew up. Speaking on that experience, there was always a portion of blacks who wanted to really promote "black" things and most people, including other blacks, didn't really give them the time of day because they were often veiled black supremacists or just edgy retards.
Black people have celebrated it basically as the true day of emancipation for a long time but off and on since sometime in the 70s or 80s as far as I know there have been pushes to make it a federal holiday.
I say "black people have celebrated it" but I don't know if it's largely regional or if it's truly national. I think it's fine as it is and frankly think we have too many federal holidays already.

This isn't a good metric to go off of. Nobody will bring up a vote they know they will lose, and given the Blue Dogs are the obvious breakpoint any attempt to pass something will first gauge their response. If they respond with a negative then its a clear sign they won't pass the bill so they won't bring it up to die. There is some benefit to be gained from having the bill be filibustered and dying as meat to the anti-conservative side. There is nothing but shame to be gained from having it lost in a straight vote. Hence why stopping the filibuster has never come up for a vote.

I don't know what the Daily Caller is trying to highlight with the tweet and clip but anyone who can read between the lines knows a lot of that advertisement is extremely forced and is not at all reflective of the demographics they're trying to appeal to.
If it was about being representative, you'd get far fewer blacks (especially black guy; white girl) and more Latinos. I can't speak for you, but I typically see emphasis on blacks who will forever be a minority in this country at all historic rates up to today. Even in Texas and California ads, two very ethnically Latino states, a ton of ads are black and white.
Anecdotes aside, just look at military recruitment to see how retarded and truly unrepresentative things are in that regard. Black people are tokens for advertisement woke points and nothing more.

Interracial couples are statistically uncommon in general. Of course those commercials are forced and not reflective of consumer demographics. Biden, and the older centrist lib he represents, would be naive enough to champion this as representation rather than pandering (or pander to the naivete themselves). I think commercials don't use white/Hispanic couples often because many Hispanics have European features and might not immediately register as nonwhite (it's the same in the NE where I live).

Yeah, and nobody wants to carry that shit back to the personnel carrier. Given that a US rifle squad is hauling close to double their "official" firepower allotment in the form of ammunition, extra grenades, etc., no reason not to use it up fast. You're just mad we had more ammo than we knew what to do with in WW2, and sending it downrange was the best and easiest solution.

This matches his public statements at the time, and also logically tracks that, if the intent of the mask is to stop the infected from spreading the infection, and people could be infected without knowing it, then the safest thing is for everyone to wear a mask. It's stupid, but not an outright deception.
