The most mind-boggling part of this to me is that if they wanted to make kids more accepting of gay people they could've easily chosen to show a regular-ass gay person.

I would say I'm still left, just less tolerant of this crap. It was critical race theory shit for me, but that's nothing compared to trannies. I don't want any little innocent kid to end up with a stinkditch or necrosed nipples in 20 years. It makes me genuinely sad.
It hurt me too, man. I watched Blues Clues when I was like 2-5, and it's a show I'd definitely show a child that age. At least the old one is.

Some time ago I was listening to a podcast or a video about this stuff. I believe it was something to do with the Tavistock nightmare in the UK. A former empolyee, James Caspian, (I think it was him) said that some of their clients parents were clearly homophobic. They'd rather troon out their child than have them be gay/lesbian.
Why can't they just let their kids be lesbo or gay. Don't fuck around with Lupron, and leave them alone.

"some boys like boys", or homosexuality, is easy to explain to a child. and they will later recognize if they do or don't.
"some boys become girls" is confusing, untrue, and strengthens a child under 5's misconceptions about gender and sex.
again, boys that age think that females have penises, or that they could shed theirs when they grow up. they don't know.
there is no "disqualifier" for being trans, meaning anyone can be at any time for any reason. kids will pick that option.
the worst part to me is that children have no fucking clue that picking the "trans" identity means a lifelong medical path.
munchie mothers being able to use this stuff as bait to troon out their male children also gives me the heebie jeebies.
and how are you going to explain asexuality to a child that young? "some people don't like anybody" doesn't cover it.

I know someone who as a child was certain she would become a boy at one point. Got some explanation about her baby brother confused along the way and was just waiting to turn into a boy. Was quite unhappy about it, too. That's how easy it is to persuade your child of some random bullshit, even if you don't mean to. I can't even imagine how many kids are just going to be certain they'll eventually turn into the other sex for no reason after seeing this

I would think that even in the trans activist community, calling an adversary's (the book isn't even anti-trans, it's quite sympathetic) underage daughter a "cock-starved exhibitionist" and posting photos of her on your website would get you ostracized. But apparently not. Apparently daring to believe in AGP is such a heinous thing to do that it's OK for a full-grown adult to sexually harass your young daughter.
(archive, as you might imagine he eventually got rid of it. Even this isn't the original as the backlash did at least force James to replace the photos with photos of himself as a child)
His justification is that apparently calling a child "a cock-starved exhibitionist who's especially well suited to prostitution... or a fetishist who just gets off on the idea of it" is equivalent to Bailey saying "Extremely feminine gays like this later work as waiters, hairdressers, receptionists, strippers, and prostitutes, as well as in many other occupations". Ignoring the actual context of the real Bailey quote, the fake quote is orders of magnitude worse. And even if Bailey had said something nearly as vile as what James came up with, it still wouldn't justify this.
But of course, James is still the real victim in this, because Bailey dared to talk about how revolting it was for him to target his daughter and that actually is even worse than posting pictures of a child with the caption "A cock-starved exhibitionist".
