Where the fuck is he going to work out when the gym is shut down again? They probably don't have friends to occupy the "pub", because the wife seems like an insufferable cunt. No one is going to use those stools, because they're uncomfy as fuck. Reason why pubs use those, is so customers can't get comfy and sleep in them.
Only right thing was to throw out the wall to wall rug, because those get funky and are nearly impossible to clean.
