All I can think of is that scene from The Boys (the comic, not the TV adaptation) where the Secret Service guy has a goddamn breakdown, because the Veep is a literal fucking retard who needed help to put a condom on his dick.
After a while I can't even work up anger or disgust with the minions. It's mostly pity, because they've tethered themselves to this drooling dementia-raddled old fuck and they know he's not fit to run a 7-11, let alone the country.

If the recounts are allowed to continue and they come up with serious evidence, I can see the establishment using it as an excuse to get rid of Joe and Kamala to replace them with Nancy Pelosi. God help us all, but I can see them having that as the backup plan. There are enough obvious fuck ups as it is, that you can already see the narrative support for this "legit" presidency weakening.
There's no fucking precedence though, so they would be playing with fire.
Nancy is the third in command, according to the rules if something happens to both the president and vice president, "temporary" control would go to the speaker of the house. But it's supposed to be until they elect a new president.

If you truly think that the Democrats are going to be getting rid of Biden any time soon you are either coping or delusional. He makes the perfect puppet for the DNC leadership; the dude signs whatever bullshit they put in front of him, Kamala runs the day to day garbage that requires a semi functional brain, and he's not really valuable at all to the party anymore so if things go poorly in 2022 and 2024 they can use him as a human shield to deflect from the fact that Americans rejected their ideas. Barring the adrenochrome supply suddenly running out, neither Kamala Harris nor Nancy Pelosi will ever be president.

If it's decisively proven, this year or the next, that Biden and Harris were fraudulently elected, that would set off a political shitstorm which would practically guarantee a republican clean sweep in the mid-terms, would make a republican victory in 2024 more likely, and would thoroughly discredit the Biden/Harris "administration" in the eyes of independent voters. This is why the Dems are doing everything they can to halt/hobble any audits(not recounts, there is a difference.). Failing that, they'll do whatever they think they can get away with to distract people from the electoral fraud in question.

I have been thinking about it and I kind of wonder if fraud even has to be proven to hurt the Dems in future elections.
What has to happen is that they have to make the audits themselves look fraudulent. Not to the people in general but to the people who are doing the actual work. I think that is the major push behind the stories trying to delegitimize every question about the elections and the audits. It is not to prove it to the people it is to keep the henchmen henchin'.
If some vote counter who is paid off to chuck some ballots or count the same ballots a few times suddenly thinks someone is checking up on them they might not take that risk next time.
I still think ever vote counting station should have a constantly recording camera above it and each counter should be made to wear a body camera but meh...maybe convincing the bad actors to not take job might be good enough in the short term.
