Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

i swear to god i just came here after reading about press secretary declaring people are actually paying LESS in gas. This is the definition of Newspeak. Government Official using a phrase like 'real terms' while gaslighting you.

I know it seems bad now but no one can believe this shit unless you are the most hardened NPC Democrat voter. People are going to suffer hard but the upcoming blowback will be epic.

Note the phrasing: "paying less than on average over the last 15 years." Well, guess what happened over the last 15 years? More Middle East excursions and the Obama administration's various policies restricting oil, both of which raised gas prices to record high averages. The fracking boom helped to curb that, even turning America into an oil exporter, but now that Biden's undoing a lot of that progress, gas price increases are all but inevitable.

Interestingly enough, though, when adjusted for inflation, gas prices have been on a mild but steady decrease for decades now. So while this may be technically correct, that doesn't sit well with people who are finding themselves hit in their wallets today. And note that that chart is only 2020 dollars. Who fucking knows what it'll look like by the end of this year if inflation really does end up becoming a major problem.
 
I still don't know why people treat the whole Capitol thing like a coup and that it was Trumps fault, they talk as if Trump pulled a Caesar and led an army of soldiers into the Capital when in reality it was just a bunch of larpers and boomers getting into brawls with the local police and who ended up getting shot, if that classifies as a coup then everytime groups of football hooligans get into fights should be classified as a state of massive civil unrest.
