I find it depressing that there are kiwis in the News thread arguing that 'it's totally real u guyz, she's just starving herself and on test'. I often use emojis/emoticons when I'm texting. Some guys type like that as well. I've been mistaken as a female before when I write on the internet but I don't understand why troons must gender the hell out of everything. :\

Late, but you could possibly get them under some kind of munchausen's-by-proxy / withholding medical care / inapppropriate or unnecessary medical care type thing. You can certainly get people for child abuse/neglect, which trooning out kids - and I'm talking about actual kids here, not sixteen year olds, who have a degree more agency and are usually more actively pushing the process forward - certainly is. There's a difficulty in that doctors (and in some places the state) are complicit and often lie about the risks or potential for alternative treatment/differential diagnosis though, so parents can wriggle out under a "but the nice troon quack said it was okay!". But there's at least one case in the UK where a mother was trying to troon her kid out and the father sued to stop her and prevent her contact with the kid; I remember because Mermaids backed the mother and then got into a tonne of trouble for it lmao.

i think kids suing their parents won't go anywhere, for several reasons:
number one, few people have it in them to bring such a confrontational action against their own immediate family
number two, random moms and dads usually don't have enough wealth to make a lawsuit of this magnitude worthwhile
number three, it's gonna be near impossible to effectively refute their "we did what we thought was best for you, you wanted this, and the doctor approved" argument in court

I have bad news- the photo is not bashed, she did something to her abs, but checking the photo it was taken as is and slightly shopped mostly for color comp. There is some shopping you can see when playing with levels, but generally colours across her body are consistent and compression shows there was some color correction done. The only place that was actually shopped is likely her right ribs area. Maybe a tattoo/scar/zit/beauty spot?

The thing that this photo shows is that she either has tanned face and neck or she shopped it to lighten the body to show off abs. and chicken legs.

And number four: Who's footing the bill? Depending on the age you finally have that come-to-Jesus moment you're likely not gonna have the money needed to fund a court case, so are you gonna get your parents to pay for you to sue them, thereby emptying the coffers you hope to strip them of?
