So I am in PA and apparently there are a bunch of deer farms here you can visit. In a state where I have never seen more dead deer on the side of the road.

Generally only venison from these farms is able to be sold to you or restaurants.

deer are a nuisance animal and it should be legal to shoot them where they stand. In many places throughout the midwest deer have actually moved into urban areas due to strict gun laws (you can't shoot a weapon 100 yards from a populated building etc etc) so that means they get free reign of people's yards and streets.

Some of them sell deer urine to hunters. Seems weird to me because 1. Hunting equipment retailers stock that and 2. How the fuck are you collecting it

I think a more reasonable explanation is that deer farms and auto body shops are both capitalizing on the same natural resource - an abundant wild deer population. To demonstrate collusion, you'd have to find some link between body shops, farms, and wild deer; like maybe find a deer farm that lets deer "escape", especially if the owner has financial ties to local auto repair businesses.

I thought that they are trying to breed a deer that has an instinctual need to get hit by cars and then letting the test subjects loose.
