I didn't know there was a site that publicly showed how much channels had made in super chats, that's neat. I had no clue he made that much but I've always found him kind of boring so never watched.

Rekieta is consistently wrong, has underachieved for a lawyer his age, and seeks out an audience of 90IQ weeaboos because he can't impress his peers. I wonder how conversations go at the few lawyer functions he tags along to:

The second I knew Rekieta was a total sham was the stream he was explaining working at the bank and he starts talking some bullshit about having to do all the work in the office for all the ladies there.

I'm sitting there going wait a minute this is what every shitass who gets fired for fucking the dog says...

I don't know for sure what his credentials are but he's a job hopping trustfund kid whose lack of commitment would give any serious employer pause. I mean you do the math.

PPP is not a target to go after if you have anything to lose on the internet. Nick would know that if he got advice from people better than Ralph and Shannon Gaines. You can't take anything from a guy who has nothing on his 8th burner channel. Weird to see that clip of Rackets though. I saw it in his stream when it aired and didn't think about it.

I believe he did have a standard practice for a small town lawyer. He wasn't making bank because criminal defence and small town. He has said that he found his lawyer work to be something he didn't like. I'm assuming he got into it for the projected earnings and looked for any escape parachute he could find after year one of practice and tallying up his earnings.

Nick had a normal audience of law autists pre Vic lawsuit. Most of them left because Nick would not break up vic coverage with actually interesting suites. I'm still waiting for him to cover the nintendo joycons lawsuit which he promised over a year ago to do and failed to. He's so scatter brained that he couldn't hold onto an engaged audience like a Leonard French, Nate the Lawyer, Viva Frie, Robert Barnes, Uncivil Law etc.

Lol that story was the drizzling shits. I think he said 3 women called in since it was a holiday, but he got the blame for the work not getting done despite him not being their boss. Most of his stories sound made up to fit the narrative that one of his guests is pushing.

And suprise suprise, he tells this story when he's got two MGTOW guests on his stream, one of which is his childhood friend that somehow never heard this totally wacky and crazy tale!

In addition to the banking jobs, he has also claimed to have worked on commission at Circuit City. The pay is probably irrelevant as he just needs some sort of gainful employment to keep whoever was paying his bills happy. Before he was internet famous, he bought a second property which he never could have afforded from the pay he got lawyering in a small town. No way mom would've allowed dad to fart around on YouTube when they've got 5 kids to feed unless there was something else keeping them comfortable. They've got enough now, but definitely not was he was starting out.

To be fair, a lot of people had not yet figured that out about PPP. At this point Ralph would have said something like "hahaha he got drunk and spread his asshole so I sent a picture of it to his church and family, that's who ppp is

Also, to be fair, he didn't need to retain the audience that enjoyed his law for laymen explainers once he got his grifting fingers into weeb wallets. I just miss it because I can't stand listening to the rest of them, the vic stuff was incredibly boring after a month and I don't really give a shit about comics drama

@Crystal Golem has an interesting perspective on rackets. Like many of us, I sensed something off and in the lolcow area about him, but I suspect that CG is closer to the truth than spectree would like to admit.
 
Small town lawyers can do surprisingly well, especially if they get their hooks into farmer families. Most family farms tend to have pretty thorough legal frameworks and will use every loophole conceivable to minimize taxes and maximize farm subsidies. Not saying Rackets is that talented but small town lawyers can make big bank if they know the right families.

Rekieta is clearly doing something right to be making that sort of cash, My experience with him Irl was nothing but nice. He gave me a cookie. More than anything it seems like he's marketing himself as the "right wing lawyer." You can see it in his shitty alex jones impression while trying to get at PPP. I guess more than anything I wish Nick would stop pretending like something is gonna 100% happen as he says it is. Nick always seems like the legal cope, like he's telling you everything you want to hear on a given case like saying how the Derek or Vick trials were gonna go. In reality no lawyer would ever know X is gonna happen in any given case, because judges can through whatever the hell they want out or the jury can vote against whatever evidence they want. He's preaching to the choir but he keeps getting it wrong and I don't really hear anything from Nick that 10 mins of internet research and a basic understanding of the legal system wouldn't tell you.

TL : DR is Nick is just telling people with a right leaning view what they want to hear and that their guy will win, on any given case to sell superchats
