Some countries allow you to do so, most don't. Canada you have to have a name for the child before you leave the hospital so the Birth Certificate can be filed. They have been slowly allowing you to just do it online though. Some hospitals will give the baby a temp name until the parents can choose one while you're at the hospital.Nahh, that's bollox.
