To be fair, Nixon inherited the Vietnam war from the most Chad president Lyndon B. Johnson. The man had a huge dick that he was proud to show to anyone whether they wanted to see it or not. Truman also inherited WW2. He did sign off on dropping the nukes, but it was the best strategy at hand and saved more lives considering the alternative was a full ground invasion of Japan.

Japan and China have completely different cultures although Japan did get it's moon runes from China after the Japanese decided to stop killing any and everyone foreign who made it to their shores. Before that they had no written language. History is fun. JuJutsu is Japanese and about fighting, not meditation. I don't do martial arts, but I'm more into watching Iaido.
It is a purely defensive martial art involving the katana. Basically you start from a neutral position either sitting or standing and then react to an imaginary offensive opponent by drawing your weapon, using it, wiping the now dead invisible man's blood from your blade, and then sheathing it before returning to a neutral position.
This is my form of Japanese meditation, although it is a boogie.
