Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

b-b-but it's supposed to keep you on your feet before you find a job again! what do you mean you're not going to because it pays more than a job itself?
Here's another aspect to it: we're about to have the mother of all recessions because on top of looming inflation from all the money printer go brrrr policies, we've been keeping a lot of marginal businesses afloat with gibs and those gibs will end soon. When they do, there'll be a wave of bankruptcy that cascades through the market and people will sell off assets all at the same time, which will depress prices and push people who were keeping afloat just on asset price bubbles below the line and cause them to go bankrupt. It's going to be a fucking bloodbath.

More auto industry bailouts for them to keep exporting jobs to Mexico, yes.
Yet they still come over here to take more work.

All the blame will fall on the Voiceless Orange Man.

Does this mean more of the auto industry bailouts that completely failed during the Obama administration and was a lot people's first red pill?
Probably, I don't even get the point of focusing on the auto industry when the big competitors are the eu and japan. Maybe invest in having graphic cards made in the usa rather than concentrated entirely in china? They are far more important in terms of smart tech.

Yeah, I can't joke about this. That is legitimately a horrible thing and our economy was already in the shit over this cold that kills no one. So fucking much for a return to normalcy, huh?

I'm a millenial. I listened to my boomer parents, got a trade and was able to purchase a house & truck before I was 30. My sister is a millenial. She didn't listen to our boomer parents, went into sociology and has nothing to show for in life.
Forget the house; start your own business. I have a cousin who owns his own electrical company and he's mostly retarded; he still makes way more than he has any right to, and that's with having to pay for all the retarded mistakes he makes.

No one has ever gotten rich working for someone else (unless you've got stock options for an emerging, pre-IPO company, but that is a very specific exception). Demand for trades, especially the Residential ones, is through the roof right now.

There will be no return to the way things were

Visit the more bourgeois parts of New England, especially Massachusetts, and you'll see them on cars and front lawns with frequency. Fortunately, there's backwoods towns where Trump stickers are commonplace, especially in western MA and northern RI.
Why are bougie New Englanders such leftist retards? Do they think their private security will keep them safe from urban sprawl forever?

So what exactly was this bill? Was it actually working against Bugman influence in Asian and Africa or is it another package of massive bailouts for corporations partly owned and operated by the bugmen themselves?
Audit the votes asshole. Stop trying to delete shit. Stop letting a corporation obstruct the investigation.

All they had to do was actual investigations but at every turn they have refused, destroyed evidence, and told everyone not to think too much.

Why was data purged in Michigan? Why did PA violate the order to separate votes?

The Big Lie seems to be coming from you assholes and unless you let the investigations happen that is the historical stamp. If you are so righteous the truth will set us all free right? RIGHT? That was the line for the entirety of the Trump admin.

We asked the tough questions and then did what? These people are unreal.

If people actually started learning about history I highly doubt they would be on the side of just trust us but schools are much more interested in teaching that white people are bad and brown people just cannot do better so we gotta give them shit so they can still not do better but they will have more shit. Edit for: I think they can do just fine on their own if someone would stop holding their head underwater and the hand holding them under is the left hand.

Fuck. Off.

And...LET ME BE CLEAR...If there had been a demanded audit of the 2016 election I would have encouraged that to go through because TRANSPARENCY. One has to wonder why no one was demanding audits of the vote when Trump was clearly voted in by Putin and his bots. Real fucking puzzler innit?
If it is any consolation, the 2020 election has convinced roughly half the population (depending on what polling you use) that elections don't matter and the will of the people can always be subverted. The Dems heavily overplayed their hand in 2020 and the 2022 Midterms will be the testing grounds to see if there will be pushback.

A great example of Democrat Gerrymandering is the shitshow that was Maryland some years ago. Rural areas snaked or had exclaves into Baltimore and other Democrat strongholds.

Even with a teleprompter nothing he says makes sense. Getting the Vax helps make unvaxed people safe but unvaxed people will pay the price regardless.

The Democrats are the party which have a high ranking member who stated the government has nukes in response to a question about resistance to gun grabbing.
Eric Swalwell seems like the kind of person who would gas civilians in response to dissidents in a given area. I mean, I don't like politicians in the first place, but he gives me the creeps.

Even power hungry loons like Pelosi aren't stupid enough to make suggestions like that.

Much of this describes my current situation. The government forced us to close our restaurant for 3 months. Zero sales/income. They offered us PPP to reopen, which we did. But the landscape had changed. Small mom/pop place that served breakfast/lunch to the surrounding office parks. What didn't change/reopen were the office parks we served. They remained work from home/closed and largely are still empty. Made a go of it for a couple of months, all our employees came back to work but what didn't come back were the customers. Once the PPP ran out, we weren't bringing in enough to keep the fucking lights on in the place. We had to shut it down because we were bleeding money, plain and simple. We had been doing fine before the Coof.

Sold off what we could, paid all our vendors and employees and shut the doors. Leasing company sued us for breaking lease to the tune of over 100k. Only option was to file bankruptcy. We tried to do it under our LLC, but our lawyer said they could break through that in court, so we ended up having to file as personal bankruptcy.

Had our creditor hearing earlier this month. We have nothing but our home at this point and the court is considering tapping our equity in that. Don't know how it will all play out until July.

Yes, to your point, an absolute shitshow is coming. Our lawyer said we are just the tip of the tsunami wave of bankruptcies that are coming. And the worst part is it's something we had zero control over. Shutting us down killed us, but even moreso, evaporating our customer base was the true nail in the coffin.

The level of stress on my family is off the charts. Of course I'm angry but even playing the scenario over and over again in my mind, there's simply no way I could have played the cards any differently against a deck the government stacked.

And what little condolence there is in knowing I'm only one of many in this shitstorm means nothing.

Stories like Slappy's are why office-heavy places like NYC are going to stay basically dead: the office workers have no reason to come back, because they have figured out they can do their jobs remotely.

Why pay the rent for offices when you don't have to?

And what will that do for smaller businesses who cater to the office-goers?

Only franchises can absorb those kinds of losses.

Commercial real estate is going to go tits up. You can't drive a half block around here without seeing available and for lease signs on commercial buildings that are now completely empty. Huge office spaces, small office spaces, warehouses, etc. What used to be thriving businesses everywhere is now a ghost town.

Now the big cities can start to taste the pain of the Rust Belt felt over the past fifty years.

Well, look on the bright side; if the economy goes completely tits up, the GOP will definitely win in 2022, and they might win in 2024.
