Thonis is probably indulging in self-parody because he knows nobody likes him when he plays things straight. He has the mistaken idea that if he makes fun 0f himself, people will like him. However, it just comes off as awkward and cringey.

I haven`t touched any drugs this week because i had to drive. I didn`t even have a single beer as i still fall under the category of a young driver so i can`t have any alcohol in my blood. A single beer can cost me a license and i would not get drunk or do any other drugs that may affect my driving performance and put others in danger.
