I know people always say you can't kill an idea, but hey, this is time for science. Let's buy them enough bombs that they can actually give it the old college try. The IRA wouldn't have a problem with it. They have turned into an odd bunch since they lost international support for bombing cafes. They don't get the nuance of someone having a similar cause to you but not being on your team.

Jesus Christ, their cognitive dissonance is astounding. I'm not a fan of Israel by any means, but you have to be brainwashed to cult-y proportions to ignore the obvious homophobia that's rooted in Islamic society - doesn't Iran force gay men to sexually transition under threat of death? But sure hun, the Middle East is a "thriving LGBT+ community", they even give gays free tuition towards flight school, don't you know? ...Holy shit.
I also love the schadenfreude that rears its ugly head whenever I point out the fact that Palestine threw their support behind Nazi Germany, really sends these woke anti-Nazis into a tailspin.

Pretty late and gay but regarding the whole debate about wether muslims were amazing at warfare or not, I think it's important to know the historical context behind the early muslim conquests and the insane degree of luck that the muslims had on these.
After the Rashidun Caliphate formed and conquered Arabia they invaded their neghbouring Roman and Persian Empires and then defeated them conquering the whole of the Persian Empire and conquering some of the most important and wealthiest roman provinces, afterwards they expanded into Europe throug the Visigothic Kingdom in Iberia, defeating and then conquering them fully.
Now for the context behind these events, before the Rashidun Caliphate formed the Romans and Persians had spent the last half-century fighting in a war, their largest one, after this war ended in a white peace where nobody achieved anything except obliterate the other's economy along with their manpower, also during the war in order to solve the manpower issue both the Romans and Persians started to recruit mercenaries in mass, amongst these mercenaries there were a large amount of arab tribesmen in service of both empires and when they returned home after the war they informed their fellow arabs about the state of both empires along with their tactics and general military doctrines. So when the caliphate formed the muslims knew that both empires would be unable to properly mount a defense against a sudden invasion from Arabia, and then there is also the fact that the early islamic armies consisted mostly of absolute fanatics who didn't fear dead since their religion told them that even if they died they would be rewarded in the afterlife for fighting against the infidel, that was in sharp contrast to the Roman and Persian armies whos morale was somewhere near the centre of the Earth.
In regards to the conquest of the Visigoths and the following Reconquista: the muslims were also in luck that they came across the single most centralized kingdom in Western Europe, also that the Visigoths were in a period of civil striffte that was nearing a civil war, so the Visigoth king wanted something to flex his power in order to show that he was still in charge, so when he heard that an army from Africa was invading he inmediatly went to face them, this wasn't the first time the Visigoths had faced an army coming from there so they were confident in their victory, they decicevely lost the battle and the king, his heir, and his most important advisors and administrator were dead, leaving the kingdom in a state of anarchy so the muslims just walked right into the cities planting flags because the people didn't even realize that the king died or that they were being invaded, so the muslims conquered everything in Iberia and a small poquet in southern France but they'd lost that territory not long after aquiring it and in northern Spain the territory of Asturias would break away and from them it would start the great Reconquista.
As to why the Reconquista took so long to be acomplished, the simple answer is politics, when the Reconquista first started the Asturians were the only Christian kingdom in Iberia, however they'd splinter into 3 different kingdoms BUT they still worked together as a united front against the caliphate, sharing information and organizing coordinated atacks against the muslims, however once the christians had managed to reconquer half of Iberia they essentially stopped expaning into muslim territories since the balance of power had shifted, the Umayad Caliphte had been toppled by the Abbasids but the Umayads fled to Iberia forming the Caliphate of Al-Andalus but this too would collapse causing the Iberian Caliphate to splinter into dozen of small petty emirates who were of no concern to the large Christian kingdoms so the christians now started to plot against eachother because they were the only ones capable of threaten their existence, the christians would only conquer more muslim emirates when they wanted more territory, gain prestige with the commoners or when their king was highly religious and things would be like that until the fall of Granada puting an end to the Reconquista.
