Speedy is talking about going homeless for a few months to save money... if that happens he is going to find it extremely hard to break the drug habit and get off the streets again. Someone talk some sense into him. Or he is talking about buying a cheap car and living in it.. which is only marginally better. I think he is just looking to go rogue on a meth binge with no responsibilities.

You got any idea how hard it is to live on the street? Motherfucker please, this guy is a first-world junkie that's fat and dissipated from people willingly giving him tons of money. He's living the junkie dream, such as it is: He does not have to scam other junkies, he certainly doesn't have to commit real (and dangerous) crimes for profit, he doesn't even have to steal and mooch off his fucking family!

Anyways the only reason someone like this would "become homeless" is as part of a bit, and it will last about 3 days until his first comedown in a ditch somewhere. There's absolutely no reason here to "be homeless" and only fringe kooks live outdoors. Most junkies just live in squalor, it's a lot easier. Even the spangers you see outside usually have a home, even if it's a room in a flophouse.
