Remember Jamie Bell? He actually did dance (although I'm not sure he did ballet) and was, of course, mocked for it. Jamie is not gay or bi. He's a masculine, normal dude. That's more progressive, imo. A masculine man who is into ballet is definitely more rare and even less accepted than a effeminate kid who likes to dance.

Although that's something that media has already dealt with since the time the Simpsons were good. So, it's not like anyone is breaking new ground.

It’s really sad when you think about it. When he grows up, he will realize that, thanks to his loving mommy, he is only famous for being “that ten year old boy who stripped for cash in a sex club” and that’s how the majority of the population remembers him, if they even remember that much. Problem is, of course, that all of this performance is for adults. If he was doing this in something kid-oriented, I prooobably would be a bit more tolerant. But it's not, we all know who's the real target for this.

Ok I try not to get mad at desmond himself cause I know most of this isn't his fault, but seriously every word in that post made me cringe to where I was about to puke. 🤮

also those outfits; Even though I live in new jersey, I almost never see anyone wearing the ridiculous outfits the msm is trying to pass off as "the future of fashion."

This is the most disturbing thing about child drag queens. Not once have we seen them do child-friendly performances in front of family audience. They always do very adult, sexually charged performances in front of grown men. How can anyone call this shit “kid friendly and Notsexual™“ when the target audience are obviously deviant pederasts? The mothers know who they’re marketing their children to, it’s not even subtle.

Oh good, I just ripped out part of a fingernail from sinking them into my desk on seeing this one.

What really gets to me is it gets me angry towards performers who don't deserve it. Paul O'Grady as Lily Savage was a clearly adult oriented drag act and despite being gay he made it very clear that the women's attire was for a performance. By all accounts if you told him children were watching he would probably have been horrified since his routines were never child friendly. Comedians whose entire performance revolved around their genitals were about as appropriate as him in terms of being child friendly but the majority of those would agree that children SHOULD NOT be seeing their shit. That's not their audience and making children see it is not progressive the same way that making pre teens watch porn or teaching toddlers to swear is not progressive.

The people saying otherwise need kicking in the lungs until they do not work.

nothing 'appropriate' about a child roleplaying as a sexualized adult of the opposite sex. The act of Drag is routed in adult behavior being over the top sexual.
